Infact, so many tingz culd cause it . .bt since u've ruled out batt. & sw failure then just try disassembling the phone then clean all parts wit a volatile bt not too mild fluid. .methylatd spirit shuld do it, then make sure u dry it well enough. this shuld eliminate accumulatd moisture or slight rusts

has any previous repair been carried out on d phone? Cus such culd also cause it depending on d type of adjustment dat was made durin d repair

If symptoms persist, except d EXACT cause of d problem is identified, I wont advise any repair
