zbone:
thanks guys, I'll check dis out. I asked about dis cos dere are some songs in which u really want to get hidden details in its intro but sometimes its just to fast so when u play it, u play it close but not exactly as it was on d song. I have tried using my normal media player to slow down music but it changes the key of the key of d song.
yeah but it still takes good ears.. Cos if u slow it down too much, d song becomes muffled nd u wont hear anything.. I put my tempo at 0.60

Software? I've never heard of that.
To score any song,

+ You should Listen to the song repeatedly till it gets stuck in your head
+ While listening to the song, take notice of the notes played on each hands.
+ Find the key in which the song was played in.
+ recite the voicings of the song you've previously learned.
+ play the notes of the song.
+ Transcribe the notes into chords.
+ If the chords don't sound as the one in the song you've learnt, Embellish the chords by trying any of its Major, Minor, augmented, diminished, Major 7th and Minor7th, Sus2 and Sus4, et al.

Dramadiddy and Karleb should have a better Idea.
Yea they have a lot of apps that slow down music.. I use maple, its on play store

Omimah:
On DRAMA you made a big mistake because you lack an understanding of how the first school of drama came about, in Ibadan, and later in Ife. In Ibadan it is called Theatre Arts. In Ife it is called Dramatic Arts. They do almost the same thing, and are reputed to be pace setters, having produced the best graduates and practisioners in that field. The bottom line is this, universities may choose to give different names to departments without the courses being offered altered. What UI and OAU call theatre arts and dramatic arts respectively, is called performing arts in Unilorin.
On MUSIC, I believe you reserve your comment because you think it is a waste of money and time studying music in the higher institution when there are people that didn't even go to university are dominating "music" today. A musician, both those that studied it school and those that know about it are different from the Psquares, Dbanj, Tuface, etc, of today. The likes of Tuface, may I surprise you, are not musicians, but entertainers. Can you compare the music of Psquare with that of Dare Art Alade, who read music? Dare knows the nitty gritty of the art, having learnt it from not just Unilag but also from his father, Art Alade. Can you compare TerryG with Lagba? Can TerryG identify musical notes?
Haha tell them.. Ignorance is really bad.. Nd these musicians re more successful than those doctors with dia 250k/mnth salary smh

Or don't u aspire to become a sucessful entrepreneur soon ?.
yeah.. Ive actually seen people make it in music.. Ppl i know.. Tlkin bou entrepreneurship, music is still in dt category, we dont hv to wear suits before we look like one.. There r many things to do.. Im not a musician like singer ooo... Im a pianist.. These points cn actually apply to other types of jobs.. U can organise workshops, u shd find how to advertise your job, u hve to follow trend, u shd be really determined.. There aren't bad jobs.. Just work on urself
