Good day my fellow nairalander,am was oppourtune to have a dinner with my old friend in one local canteen ysta9t,on gettin there i other for my meal and two sachet pure water,though u drank one of d water,and i later discover that there are so many particles or gems inside the water,my intension is to call d number label on the water,bt i think it make no sense,secondly am thinking of sueing them! Because 2weeks ago i was treated for typhoid,pls ur contribution to this thread will b very useful

Even if its local canteen, i tink they were nt d one dat produce d water, its better to get them inform or deal with them before they fload the whole community with cholera and typhoid

Ado-Ekiti – President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday in Ado-Ekiti appealed to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to return to the classrooms in the interest of their students.
He made the appeal at the inauguration of the College of Engineering Complex at the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Ekiti State.
The three-storey college complex was also named after the President.
Jonathan urged ASUU members to heed his appeal saying that whatever their grievances might be, keeping students out of school for four months was unpatriotic.
“I once again appeal to the entire membership of ASUU to pause and ponder on the adverse effect of their action on the future of the vibrant youths of this great nation.
“The collective destiny of tens of thousands of tomorrow’s leaders should not be held hostage to vagaries of labour disputes.
“As long as we are humans, as long as we are a developing society, this labour dispute must come up.
“I always say that even in the developed societies we hear about labour dispute; and there is no society, even the most developed, that has provided the facilities for every worker.
“Our security services, the Police, the Armed Forces, Navy, Air Force and para-military, intelligent services are also operating in an environment that is not the best.
“If all of us should go on long strike because our environment is not at its optimum, then definitely we can never get the Nigeria of our dream.
“So, let me use this unique opportunity that I am interfacing with our future leaders, our students, to plead with ASUU members.
“If it is a genuine strike keeping students out of classrooms for almost four months, by that they have demonstrated to everybody that they have a case.
“And if the strike is motivated by some other interests, they have also achieved that by keeping students out of schools for more than a semester,” he said.
The President emphasised that the freedom of association and the right of workers to go on strike should not be abused to harm the country’s interest.
“I believe that labour has the right to go on strike, but in that strike, any action taken must be built on patriotic zeal.
“In as much as you can go on strike, you must be patriotic to our country.
“No matter how and what you feel about Mr president and the federal government, I plead with ASUU that for the sake of our students, they should resume classes,” he said.
President Jonathan assured all that the government would continue to work with all Nigerians to build a better country for all and future generation.
He noted that as long government had shown commitment to improving the qualities of infrastructure in the universities and the operating environment, ASUU should reconsider its stand.
Jonathan noted that if students of private universities could get their degrees within three and half years as witnessed in ABUAD, “it is unacceptable that students of public institutions are kept for extra one or two years

lilyafaten: Court in South Africa has found Henry Okah guilty of the charges leveled against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Henry Okah was accused of masterminding the two car bombings in Abuja on October 1st, 2010 when Nigeria was celebrating her Independence day, killing about 12 people and injured 36. He was arrested the following day in Johannesburg.

Henry was charge with engaging in terrorist activities, and conspiracy in delivering, placing and detonating an explosive device.

The first to give evidence at the opening of Okah’s trial was Minister Of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, who said Henry Okah was a key figure in the Niger Delta Struggle and the militants had a lot of respect for him.

Henry Denied involvement in the attacks, which were claimed by MEND Militants and he also denied being the leader of the group.

Wen ah checkd on jamb site 4 d numba of student dat chose lautech, bth first nd scnd choice, dat had abv 200 in jamb, dey were abt 5000+..Therefore i jst wanna knw if i stand a beta chance of beinq admitted 4 elect/elect engineering as a secnd choice aspirant...

Brother if u av strong link u av 40percent though d number of aspirant dat score 200 above in jamb is nt more than 5k plus, but do u knw ao many candidate running dia pre-degree programme almost 6k per year so dey will gv chance 4 almost 3k pre-degree candiadte, 2k for jambite and 5hundered for dirent entry aspirant,I will advice u to work vividly on ur. 1st choice sch.gudluck buddy

As people use to say that heaven help those who help them sef, since d negotiation between ASUU chairman and FG official has been put abortive for past 2 month.

The only way to this s GOD intervension,since nasir faggie say the injection of 100billion is a drop of water frm ocan of water and minister of education said FG is broke and they share 715billion last week the gain on our crude oil,so who is deceiving who ?

THE REMEDY

President ebele jonathan has been yielding to the advice of. Pastor ADEBOYE and SULTAN of sokoto,why can't we go to GOD in prayer and ask our General overseas to talk to him since they have direct acess to him.

RECENTLY
The peaceful protest in northern. Side of the country has turn to bloody protest! In which some people are struggling for their life at the nearest hospital, is this how we will continue?
