PEP definitely has side effects. I took it for 1 whole month following a needle prick from HIV infected patient. That 1 month was the worst of my life. Some people have had serious adverse reaction to the drugs and we're hospitalised for it. If ur immune system is intact, the meds is harder on u.

You are not saved yet. You might still be in your window period, you have to retake the test in 3 months time, then again in another 3 months time. That's 6 months altogether to be totally sure you dodged your village people. Good luck amigo!

Very very possible. Easier for a lady to get it from a man than other way round.
I once had a patient who has been having unprotected with his HIV positive wife for 10yrs and didn't get it.
The risk increases sha if you have a wound on ur PP or the lady dey do period.

You can get the drug in pharmacy is just 5k, you can also get the drug for free if you have connections otherwise they only give it to health workers.
