I just got this netbook IBM LENOVO ideapad s12, just under the laptop, there is a sim card slot there, i was made to understand it is a 3g card slot. My issue now is to get it to work. the hardware is installed but no driver to drive the hardware. Any thoughts on this. contributions are highly needed ASAP. Thanks all

Hi Guys,

I use to have the same problem with my modem, until i found a way out of it. You need to reset the modem back to factory settings just the way it was made in the factory. The truth is that the modem is configured to come as RAS and not NDIC and that's why Glo can't connect with it. But once the reset is done, you will be able to use the modem as RAS and NDIC.
All you need is a window based programme called hyper-terminal. The terminal will aid in the reset to factory settings. I have a manual already made by me, so if you need it, just buzz me via email dre9014life@yahoo.com. Am not charging anything because someone help me too to make it happen. Hope to hear from you guys soon.
