PROJECT:
Lagos state Government village excision policy for Ogudu waterfront land reclamation project.

PROJECT SIZE:
30 hectares village excision with Governor's consent.
5 hectares reclamation already achieved, remaining 25 hectares.

CURRENT STRATEGY:
To activate the already reclaimed 5 hectres by connecting it to the main road (1.2Km) by pumping further 55,000 cubic metres of sand. We already have a 22” dredger that’s ready for this and it would take about 2 months at 8hrs work per day to accomplish this task.
Thereafter, the 5 hectres of land is ready for development ( layout, infrastructure etc)

A developer is looking for an investment of N600 Million to create an access road from the main road to the reclamation area.

The investor will be given 1 Hectare (about 15 plots, excluding infrastructure) from the reclaimed 5 hectares for his investment. It is expected that each plot will sale for between 75/80 million, could be more, being a prime property. The return on investment is no doubt very good.
