A trendsetter in her own right sometimes likes to try on a few new things that’s trending and in a recent attempt to outshine her much younger professional competitors like Riri, Selena, Beyonce who have already hogged the limelight with their grills, 55 year old Madonna got herself one.
While she stepped out in Rome for a visit to a fitness store her grills became visible but I have to say that the one she wore didn’t look as uncomfortable as the ones the above mentioned people were seen wearing. Beyonce could hardly close her mouth with her fang-like embellishment.
Madonna sure did pull it off well or wore it well and it’s seemingly wearable even but there’s still a part of me that thinks that the grills looked like dental cavity! Abi?.

People have been asking for the full story after I posted wale’s tweet defending his pal wizkid on twitter.

Wizzy was about to perform at a wedding when he ‘instagramed’ saying he had a hangover. (I guess he was just sharing one of those experiences with his loved fans) when a fan noticed his gbagaun “am about to perform at this wedding with an hangover! Jah guide! Lol” for reasons best known to him, this Wizkid fan @Spruzman asked Wizzy to correct himself. Then he said it was cos of errors like this that Wizkid needed to get back to school referring to his song ‘the matter’ where he said “twenty man shall fall that day if you cross my lane o”
Obviously, that statement pissed Wizkid off. So Wizzy hit him with a simple but hugeeee reply.
Trust Wizkid's fans to defend their star, cos many of them pounced on @Spruzman, and severely lashed out at him too. Seriously, the story went viral on the internet.
Thinking that was the end, trust Nigerians nah, We no dey carry last. A return leg ensued on twitter where fans blasted wizkid and told him it was the same poor people that don’t have opinion that buy his CDs and pay for his shows.
Well wizkid was gracious not to reply any of this as it may further damage his image but like the Yoruba adage, Dada can’t fight but his brother can surely do.
Wale Folarin, the Nigerian born rapper signed to Rick Ross’s MMG went on twitter to instruct parents to train their parents on how to use social networks, which I shared earlier on nairaland here http:///mRkm7N. Hmmm. So un-Nigerian.

Television star Wentworth Miller announced he was gay on Wednesday in order to take a public stand against homophobia in Russia.
The Prison Break star declined an invitation to a Russian film festival after the country passed a series of anti-gay laws.
The 41-year-old Prison Break star had been asked to attend the St. Petersburg International Film Festival.
'As a gay man, I must decline,' he wrote in his reply, which was made public by the campaigning group GLAAD.
I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government,' Wentworth added in his letter.
'The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly,' he said.
Wentworth said if circumstances improved he would be free to make a different choice - adding that he had 'a degree of Russian ancestry' and had enjoyed past visits to the country previously.
The actor was immediately praised by gay rights advocates.
'Wentworth's bold show of support sends a powerful message to LGBT Russians, who are facing extreme violence and persecution: you are not alone,' said GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz in reference to the country's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
'As people from across the globe continue to speak out against Russia's horrific law, more celebrities and corporations should follow his courageous lead in openly condemning Russia's anti-LGBT law,' he added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin in July signed a law banning the adoption of Russian-born children by gay couples.
Putin in June signed another bill that classified 'homosexual propaganda' as pornography and provides for fines and arrest for those making it accessible to minors.
A law passed in 2012 also banned public gay pride events in Moscow for the next 100 years.
The Russian laws have sparked protests in the US where some gay rights advocates have poured Russian vodka in the streets.
The laws also have caused some concern among athlethes who will be heading to Russia for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

To most of us, the news of Lee Thompson Young's tragic death on Tuesday, Aug. 19, came as a complete shock.
According to E!, he had suffered from depression for some time leading up to his apparent suicide.
The Rizzoli & Isles star, who was 29 at the time of his death, "didn't drink or party," says a source, adding, "He was the opposite. Lee loved to travel and was always the first to tell everyone to take a breath and enjoy the beauty of life." He was always "gentle and unassuming," despite his early success, and didn't have the typical "look-at-me" attitude.
That said, those close to Young noticed things "really changed" a few years ago when he began practicing Yoruba, an Africa-based religion which has a saying, "iku ya j'esin", meaning "death is preferable to ignominy." Some have questioned whether this means that suicide is an acceptable way to preserve personal or family honor in the face of public shame.
However, Yorùbá culture icon and Chief Priest of Osogbo, Araba Ifayemi Osundagbonu Elebuibon, told the National Mirror earlier this year that the religion "[does] not support suicide. Their belief is that if somebody commits suicide, they will be punished in the hereafter."
The Famous Jett Jackson star "took [his religion] to the next level and started wearing white all of the time," says a source, adding, "This religion was everything to him." Although he reportedly took a break from practicing Yorùbá, he recently returned to the religion. Just before his death, he visited a small village in Africa for something reportedly related to the religion.
As for Young's family? A source notes that he was close with his mother and sister, but relatives were worried his close friends no longer lived in L.A., leaving him surrounded mostly by "industry types."
Police discovered the erstwhile Disney star's body Monday when, after he didn't show up to set to film Rizzoli & Isles.

Hearing something like this from a Former President is so precious and should be taken with all seriousness.
He is actually saying the truth, President Olusegun Obsanjo in my own view has always fixed things before he leaves. At least he puts food on the table and not like what we are experiencing presently well I leave the comments to you peeps to make.

Olusegun Obasanjo said these on Tuesday in Ibadan, while reviewing the history of Nigeria as a keynote speaker at the 4th Annual Ibadan Sustainable Development Summit by the Centre for Sustainable Development, University of Ibadan, and African Sustainable Development Network.
Here is his very strong message.

“We had some people who were under 50years in leadership positions. One of them was James Ibori, where is he today? One of them was Alamieyeseigha, where is he today? Lucky Igbinedion, where is he today?

“The youngest was the Speaker, (Salisu) Buhari; you can still recall what happened to him. You said Bola Tinubu is your master. What Buhari did was not anything worse than what Bola Tinubu did.

“But in this part of the world some people covered up the other man. The man claimed he went to Government College, Ibadan but the governor (Oyo State) went to Government College and packed all the documents so that they would not know that he did not go there.

“I wanted someone who would succeed me so I took Atiku. Within a year, I started seeing the type of man Atiku is.

“I once went to Tanzania because Julius Nyerere recognized Biafra. He told me not to mind his aides and others in government. They would say they have one house in town but their five year old sons and daughters would have houses all over.

“Some of you who are condemning the leadership would get there tomorrow and it will be a different story. Only very few are actually good.

“Abacha, my predecessor got $750m. Through our lawyer in Switzerland we recovered $1.25bn and the lawyer still said there is probably still another $1bn to be recovered. In 1979 we had 20 new ships specially built for Nigeria. When I came back 20 years after, the national shipping line had liquidated.

“The whole thing is not just about leadership. If we talk about good leadership you should also talk about good followers. If you talk about human right you should also talk about human duties and obligations.

“It is sad that after 53years of independence we have no leader that we can commend. The problem in Africa is that when one person takes over he would not see any good thing that his predecessor did. Let us condemn but with caution,”

Wolfsburg have announced on their official website that they have secured the services of Luiz Gustavo from Bayern Munich for an undisclosed fee, beating Arsenal to the signature of the Brazil international.
The 26-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the 2008-09 Bundesliga champions and will be officially presented later today.
Gustavo was keen to leave Bayern after he was deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Pep Guardiola following the arrival of Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona earlier this transfer window.
He had also caught the attention of Arsenal and the Premier League giants had a €20 million offer accepted for Gustavo. However, the midfielder has decided to stay in the Bundesliga instead.
Gustavo had joined Bayern from Hoffenheim in January 2011, making over 60 Bundesliga appearances for the Allianz Arena side since and winning the treble in 2012-13.

Tonto Dikeh tried to commit suicide a few weeks back. Unbelievable, cos she looks like she is full of life? She really wanted to end her own life but thank God for the intervention of good friends.
She is said to have shared what happened to her on her instagram page but most people didn't get what she was trying to say.
