MorataFC: If Yamal is not careful with all the scandals and controversies surrounding him, it could affect his stardom. How old is he, sef? A small boy trying to live large like an adult. He really needs a good mentor or manager to guide him.
AirBere: Lol I wish it was so but it isn't. It's like saying Argentina automatically qualified after winning WC2022. Right now, only qualified team from Europe is PSG.
On a side note, next step is to win UCL again, automatically qualify for FIC/CWC and complete the trophy haul. This is our second CWC title. We're yet to win the FIC(Madrid are inaugural winners).
Not necessarily win Cl tho
We can qualify by being the best performing team in Europe in the next 3years
Gucciboy: It's pleasing to inform you that only one slot remains for England now as Chelsea have qualified for 2029 FIFA CLUB WORLD as pioneer champions.
Enzo5: Who should win ballon d'or > Raphinha, fwd, 34gls, 25assists UCL golden boot, la Liga player of the year > Dembele, fwd, 35gls, 16assists UCL player of the season, ligue 1 player of the season and golden boot > Salah, fwd, 34gls, 23assists Epl player of the year, golden boot and player maker award > Palmer, AMidfielder, 18gls, 14 assists FIFA club world cup player of the tournament, golden ball, 2 man of the final awards CWC and conference league
If it's about trophies then Vitinha and Mendes, goals mbappe, 44goals, European golden boot and LA Liga "golden boot", outside mentions of yamal could make top ten.
It may end like this for balon d'or 1. Dembele 2. Palmer 3. Raphinha 4. Salah
FIFA best player 1. Palmer 2. Dembele 3. Raphinha 4. Salah
Don't know about this list
But trust Chelsea and barca Pr to push top 5 for their players
Luis Enrique on Club World Cup: “I think this tournament was born out of the need to know who the best team in the world is. It’s an interesting format and could become a real top-level competition.
There is just the difficulty of finding space for it in the current calendar, but we had the chance to win it — and there was another team who were simply better than us in the final.”
If PSG played the Way they played against Madrid or inter , even if they concede, they still would have one .. All Enrique had to was let Nuno keep bombing forward and let the better team out score each other depending on how potent each team attack is in which PSG had the Superior attack .. Chelsea's attack would have meant nothing. But instead pulled Nuno to sit back and isolate kvara against the two man marking him ..
You could see whenever palmer drift inbox , gusto would go wide leaving Nuno confused on who to mark cause kvara was really tracking back ..
I bet Nuno and kvara doing the same to your fullback would place gusto in the same position, luckily for him he always had someone else man marking kvara with him, I think that was palmer or so .
To be sincere Chelsea got lucky let PSG rejuvenate and have enough rest then replay this match with the same intensity, if una no collect make I hear wetin happen
Android22: Your focus should be on your team's weaknesses compared to theirs not just looking at theirs.
I don't recall seeing them score a freekick or from a corner kick but you have Reece James who can score those, and you have tall players like Tosin who are aerial threats during corner kicks. Tbh, those are your best 2 options to score them.
You can also try to limit their wing play by being compact & asking Neto/Palmer to double up with Cucu/Reece but that will neutralize your team's own wing play.
You don't have to agree. Just unbiasedly compare the individuals you know would start and ask yourself how they compare. PSG will come out on top overall. They will dominate possession and create overloads using Mendes/Hakimi constantly & both players are better than Cucu/Reece. Better than doesn't mean Cucu/Reece are not good by the way.
Remember, you don't have to agree. Just pretend you're not a CFC fan for a second and do this comparative analysis.
Your weakest point is your defense especially your CB pairing. Your team has faced giants like LAFC, El Tunis, Flamengo, Benfica, Fluminense and Palmerias. Did all of those teams breach your defense? Did they get to dangerous positions? What will a better team like PSG do with those type of chances?
My prediction: PSG will beat CFC 3-0 or 3-1.
Remember, it's a prediction. I'm not saying this will DEFINITELY happen. Other people can also predict that Palmer will dribble everybody on the pitch and score and you win 1-0 or that JP will hit a pile driver from half way and you win 1-0. I no sabi do that kain analysis.
Enzo5: Enzo Fernández: "When I joined, I knew I was coming to a very big institution like Chelsea, that was in a difficult situation, but the owner showed me his projects, what he had in mind for the future, and I think today we’re finding that, so I’m very happy.
I think I’ve achieved something very good on a personal level this season. And very good things in terms of assists, goals, and titles with the club, that’s what I’d been looking for since I arrived."
Man was crying at full time, tears of joy
Enzo by the way
One of the very first signing of the blueco project
Ibime: The £100m talk for Jackson is just yanga to try to get £50m from him
Although I saw JP as a goalscoring winger, his movement for the third goal was a classic no9 movement. He stepped back to measure the offside trap and also confuse the defender, then quickly made his run
One thing I know about wingers or AMs that convert to no9 is once they taste blood as a no9, they will never want to step back to their former position. It happened to me in Uni football. I knew I would score easily as no9 and once I convinced my captain to move me there and started scoring immediately, I never considered myself anything other than a striker until an injury layoff ultimately sent me back to CB in my final year
I have seen it happen to Van Persie, Luis Suarez, Lewandowski, Arnautovic and Michael Antonio who all played wings or midfield in the case of Lewandowski. Once they taste blood, they will not want to go back to their former position and JP is looking like that kind of person to me which means Jackson is now 3rd on the bench and should be thrown away as Guiu will cover 3rd striker easily
I mean check this JP movement for the goal, how he quickly stepped back to measure the offside trap and confuse the defender before making his final run. His hold up play and strength was also very good in the game, although against Beraldo who is somewhat physically weak.
Kimbeast: You know airmark is shameless so let him be. Someone that was preaching for traditional 9 in Gyokeres or Osimhen is now changing tone. A fluid attack won us this game.
Give credit to the defense too
Keep a clean sheet against the mighty psg. With a balondor winner is no easy feat
Even nuno Mendes no show today and for some weird reason him no bomb forward, at some point it looked like he was playing a back 3 .. .if Enrique has allowed him to bomb forward supporting kvara, game would have gone differently..
