Maresca seems to be underestimating the opponent again by starting Gusto and Nkunku.
Why not start with James and Andrey Santos, take control early, and then lock the game down in the second half once we’re leading?
It just feels like we’re making things harder for ourselves unnecessarily.
James had a knock in the last warmup

You want them to rush him again

Chelsea fans complain too much

And Andrey over caicedo as how

Chelsea btw , the most reactionary fanbase

Cos why am I no longer seeing posts that estevao should be loaned and he isn't ready

Because of a bad game with Brazil

The funny thing is, if there’s any team capable of beating PSG right now, it’s Chelsea — and here’s why:

People continue to underestimate the quality of this Chelsea squad. But if you can lock down the wings and dominate the midfield, PSG becomes very beatable — and Chelsea is built to do just that.

Let’s start with the wings: Marc Cucurella already showed the world he can handle Ousmane Dembélé during Spain’s Nations League clash with France.
And on the right? Reece James — arguably the best RB in the world. Nobody’s skipping past him.

In midfield, Moisés Caicedo will do what he does best — break up play and dismantle any buildup. Add Enzo Fernández and Roméo Lavia into the mix, and PSG may struggle to get meaningful touches in key areas.

As for our attack, Cole Palmer and co. bring flair, creativity, and unpredictability. These young attackers can give any defense problems — even PSG’s.

Yes, PSG has the edge when it comes to centre-backs and goalkeepers. Donnarumma is a wall, and it’ll take something special to beat him. And if PSG manages to break through our midfield, they could seriously test our backline.

But all things considered — if Chelsea meets PSG in the final, don’t be shocked if we come out on top.

What’s ur take on this analysis?
Good write up

But PSG go too paste us

Madrid is the team I feel we can challenge

Anyway we have to raise 60m from player sales

Hence the reason madueke is being sold

Madueke has 5 assists in 3,790 minutes of league football is his 3 seasons at Chelsea.

7 assist in all competitions if I want to be generous.

Where is the agenda?
The people that were playing on the wings for us the season we finished 12th how many assists do they have ?

Madueke is not world class but you people are being unfair on him, considering his price tag

It's literally doing the same thing we attack air mark for on Jackson

I don't know if it's the quality of the opposition

But I think maresca implemented a new pattern in this CWC and we have been playing well

Asides the flamengo game where he admitted to experimenting

You are overrating him then. Kudus is ahead of Mmadueke.

And we are even talking about Nwanneri and Kudus combined giving us better attacking options than Mmadueke. So it’s a good deal by all standards
Dribbling is the only thing kudus has over madueke

They are in the same talent bracket

We don't need nwanerri , allow him shine for arsenal cos he will ride the bench if he comes here

Noni being on Arsenal wish list, means Chelsea's recruitment team has a way of buying player's that has resale value unlike manutd that's beginning to hawk their unwanted players from Clubs to clubs. 😊

As we make progress in the CWC, let’s not forget that we may face some serious fatigue challenges midway through the season.

It’s been “serious” weeks of high level of energy contests and excruciating heat in the States. The players will no doubt be tired by the time this tournament is over.

Then we can expect to see some couple of lackluster performances as the season progresses. This is just my fear, I hope the manager with the recent additions can find a way to split the minutes between everyone without us losing the enthusiasm to compete on all fronts.
Exactly

Me I wonder why Chelsea fans are calling for some players to be sold

By the time we are hit with injury in December their eyes go clear

Two footballers died, brothers from the same mother, died in a car crash. But the world is only talking about the famous one, people post tribute and mourn him, all the TVs station are only talking about him,as if the other guy's life doesn’t matter. Is he not human too? Does he not deserve to be remembered? This is how the world shows bias, only the well-known get sympathy and attention.
This selective grief reflect a deep rooted bias where recognition is reserved for the celebrated ones alone
Every life matters, not just the popular ones. This is pure sentiment and it’s not right.

Rest in peace Diogo Jota
Rest in peace Andre Silva.
Please don't spin an agenda with the dead

This is a case of people being more familiar with diogo jota cos we watch him week in week out

And condolences are also being dropped in memory of his brother

Mudryk, Neto, Sancho, nkunku, madueke, palmer, Joao Felix, jackson

We scored 6 against wolves and couldn't stop making noise about our attacking depth

And how did that turn out towards December?

Joao Pedro had a good second half. Still fresh which might be a factor so not jumping on his hype train yet but he showed exactly why someone like Delap keeps struggling, if you're not willing to drop deeper and get on the ball, you are just going to get isolated.
Delap plays like a traditional 9

If Jackson isn't sold he might fall down the pecking order
