I think that might explain why he picked such a silly side on Saturday, though I do not agree with the thinking.

I personally think there is no way Arshavin and Song will not start - this game has no chance of going into extra time, so there is every reason to come out all guns blazing and try to score against Liverpool. Even if we lose, as long as we play to our best, I will understand. What is unacceptable is not giving your best to a game and going out in shambolic fashion like we did on Saturday.
