| Phones › Re: What Is The Fuss About Blackberry by drogba(m): 10:28pm On Jan 11, 2012 |
I eventually had to buy a because of the data discrimination. Bbm was not even amongst the reasons but the fact that I can get unlimited downloads on it via a cheap plan of 3k monthly. That's what swayed me since I download more than 100GB monthly and couldn't find any plan in that category. |

the major advantage in using bb is the cheap compressed data. There are numerous worthy alternatives to bbm for other phone brands |

| Politics › Re: Is There Anything Good With The Fuel Subsidy Removal? by drogba(m): 7:02am On Jan 10, 2012 |
Subsidy removal is the right thing to do in our current circumstance as Goldcon stated, but the issue generally is that of trust. We cant continue to borrow to fund consumption but rather production, else Nigeria collapses. Subsidy removal is sensible but what of our corrupt leaders? There is definitely no guarantee that the savings will be put to good use and I will hate to pay with my sweat for nothing in return. |
| Politics › What Decision Should Gej Take Now? by drogba(op): 6:22am On Jan 10, 2012 |
With the first day of protests over, I wonder what decision GEJ should take on this sensitive issue of subsidy removal. I like being analytical and would love if the moderators can help put up a poll to enable us quantify whats really going on in the minds of Nairaland members on this delicate issue. If you were GEJ, what will you do now? 1. Revert the price back to #65 and forget about subsidy removal. 2. Revert back to #65 for now and remove subsidy completely later in the year. 3. Reduce price to around #100. 4. Reduce price to around #100 for now and remove subsidy completely later in the year. 5. Maintain current position at #145 If there are any other options outside these 5, you are free to discuss. |

Imanuelle:i have used more than 200mb in 1 week and the bb internet browser has stopped working. Seems like mtn suspends the browser when the 200mb limit is consumed. But every other stuff still works |
