I really base my posts on OPK's. Why? Because it's so easy to know you are ovulating using OPK's. A lot of women dont get signs at all.. A lot do. Best thing is to observe your body patterns for changes. I dont know much about blocked fallopian tubes. If anyone is diagnosed with that (blocked tube) in this Naija... abeg research for the best place because Nigerian doctors have destroyed wombs and killed babies because of wrong diagnosis. If one tube is blocked then one should be open. If not then you have to research more. I so much hate the medical system with passion because of experiences i've had that is why I spend my time searching the internet packing info, comparing and analysing it. I've read about blocked tubes.. also know it's risky operating.. easier to do insemination or IVF with blocked tubes to get pregnant though expensive. The so called "sabi mamas" grin here should know more but pls whatever u are told here spend time to research on it. Knowledge is POWER! My knowledge there is limited.
For Blocked Fallopian tubes, IVF is the best option and almost the only option worldwide because of the poor success rate of tubal repair and risk of ectopic pregnancy in repaired Fallopian tubes

If I told you the Staph is a contaminant, you would not be satisfied.

Repeat the test at another lab and compare the results. You would see it will most likely bring a different result.
Staphylococcus is probably a contaminant because it leaves on the skin or in the laboratory. If you truly have staphylococcus infection you will feel terribly sick. You know staphylococcus causes boil so if you have staphylococcus you should feel the same pain of boil in your genital

Hi Ladies,
I took a long break from ttc, now am back.
we have decided to try iui, so after reading success stories of some fertility clinic. We registered with regenesis and the doc. gave me 3months to lost some weight. Since my bmi says am morbid obese! And we will be running some test too.
Honestly it's been hard to lost the weight, I made up my mind we will have to go through this with or without the weight. The waiting is increasingly depressing and am sure a bfp is what can consol me right now.
Am certain we will win at the end.
i hAve few weeks before for the procedure.

Any advice please?
Unfortunately,I don't know your BMI. However, if your BMI is over 30kg/m/m, it reduces your chance of success. BMI 35kg/m/m and over significantly reduce your chance of conception and live birth and it increases risk of diabetes, hypertension and other medical condition in pregnancy. My advice is you lose weight before you start. It will be a great thing if you can achieve BMI 30kg/m/m or lose at least 10% of your present weight before you start.
I have a few weight reduction tips for you:
Your Dinner should not be later than 6pm, if you can make lunch your main meal and take fruit two slices of wholebread in the morning and fruit meal for dinner
Stop taking sodas
Walk for at least 90 minutes thrice a week.
If you do these religiously, you'll be amazed what you will achieve in 6 weeks.

Hello All, please for those who used gestone injections what dose did you use and how often. My doctor gave me cyclogest 400mg twice a day. Please kindly reply. I wish everyone Bfp. Thanks
Gestone is prescribed as frequently as 75-100mg deep intramuscular injection daily to alternate days. If you are combining the injection with cyclogest, I will advice alternate day but if you take it alone, I favour 100mg daily. Whatever the circumstances do not take less than 75mg or any occasion. It can be very painful but let what you are looking for motivate you.

yes metformin is fine for PCOS, it helps to improve egg quality and sometimes ovulation may occur with return of menstruation

Folic acid, Vitamin E and other antioxidant are beneficial. The beneficial effect of proviron (Mesterolone) is conflicting, information that is more recent says its effect may be counterproductive and you will not find out until after about three months from when you start taking proviron therefore I would not advice proviron. I advise you have regular intercourse at least 3-4times a week if you are trying to have a baby.
