A fire outbreak on Monday January 14th razed down a female hotel in School of Health Science and Technology (SHST) Makarfi, Kaduna State. As n-Mirror reliably learnt, no life claimed, but students' belongings worth thousands of naira were affected. Speaking to n-Mirror on the incident whose cause remain unknown, a students leader, Comr. Suleiman Mubarak said the affected students are left with nothing aside from the clothes they are wearing. Mubarak who is also the president of Makarfi chapter of Nasarawa Students Association (NASSA) called for urgent assistance of the state government and well-meaning individuals to ameliorate their sufferings, noting that majority of the affected students are indigenes of the State. "We are left with nothing aside from the cloth we are wearing. I am calling on the Nasarawa State Government through the voice of the Nasarawa State Students,, Association, Makarfi chapter to come to the aid of these students," he added. The attainment of this plan would bring about far-reaching economic opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises. Suppose the trio gained their sights after they had made their description,each would realise the absurdity of his description.but they did not.none of them made a real description of the elephant.they all had the king of the land before them without knowing it. Ishaq Kana Visits Onah Of (Ogye) Toto Over Chief Imam's Death By Yahaya Idris, Toto, 21st December 2018 The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Hon. Ishaq Ahmed Kana, on Friaday, paid a condolence visit on the Onah of Toto, Alhaji Muhammad Umar Azaki, over the death of the Chief Imam of Toto, Ahmad Iiman. The visit came five days after the demised of the cleric. The cleric had died, on Monday morning, leaving behind two wives and 14 children. His remains were buried same day according to Islamic injunction. The hopeful Governorship candidate arrived Onah's palace a few minutes after 12 PM and left about 20 minutes later. He was accompanied by Toto DG. Campaign Chief Audu Bako, Toto LG SDP Chairman, Hon. Ismaila Ahege, ward party Chairmen and stalwarts among others. Kana extolled the virtues of the late Chief Imam, describing him as pious and humble. "I shares in the pain the Toto community and family of the deceased is passing through and no mortal can question God on what have been destined to happened that Allah is the only one who giveth and taketh". The politician fervently prayed God to give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the soul of late Liman eternal repose". He also described the death of Mallam Ahmadu Liman as unfortunate and sudden, Kana said he decided to come and identify with the bereaved family in their moment of grief. The Onah of Toto equally spoke of the good deeds of the late cleric, adding that Toto, the State in general would miss him. Meanwhile, Hon. Kana also visited the family residence to paid condolence visit which he was warmly received by family members and they thank him for identify with them at this critical time of pain, praying God to returned him back safely to his destination. |

APPEAL TO FG,NASARAWA STATE GOVT. AND TOTO L. G.A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA STUDENTS(NAN'S) PRESS STATEMENT We as a body have received different reports on the communal clashes between the two tribes in Toto LGC which have caused a lot of damage and destruction of property and loose of life This crisis have affected education in the local government. Consequently, some students were forced to run for their safety in the neighboring States and FCT. Education is total shutdown in some parts of the local government with the increasing attacks by the unknown militia said to be of Bassa extraction. This is no more a communal clash, but rather another form of banditry against the travelers,passers bye and business associates This act is becoming unbecoming due the incessant attacks by this militias. A primary school in karabana of umaisha development area is is burn down completely by this armed militiamen on 6th Dec 2018 and four farmers were killed in near village and off till now noting has been done to end to insecurity in that particular areas. We call on government to set a joint task force to as patrol team around the affected areas as soon as possible before it gets out of hand and leads to anarchy This was obtained in a report made by Nan's Secretary-General Comr.
