Thanks bro for the response. I am yet to start using the shortcode as I have not figured out how the autoresponder thing will work.
I only purchase the shortcode from a vendor online.

An sms autoresponder takes an incoming sms ......reads the sender number plus the sms body and sends a response from a database of configured responses eg sms banking. At the very least an incoming number attached to a server is needed. Not sure most shortcode providers can do this on any fee less than a couple of millions.

Can help you with an auto responder. How do you get sms sent to the shortcode? Is it forwarded to a number?

Just visit playstore or the ios market (heck, even the defunct windows market) and there literally
millions of chat apps. so what makes this one unique?
Some are even open source; you could recompile to suit your needs.
We need to innovate.

He should have found a way to make and receive payment on the app platform.....that will make it unique and useful here.

Equipment will be 10 laptops/desktops for 10 persons with tables and chairs. It can run 24 hour shifts depending on clients requirement. So total cost will be cost of laptops/desktops(40k x10),chairs/tables plus fittings and router(under 700k in total).

Try the email with another port. Check out integration with mailgun,sendgrid etc

Think your hosting company is blocking port 25. Check that port.

Hello guys, please i will like to know if anyone knows of any android app that can be used for calling mobile phones or landlines, it should be able to work in the same way as making regular phone calls, which means the receiver of the calls doesn't need to be connected to the internet. You have two options.....get a Chinese sim card or rent a Chinese number and forward to your mobile phone.

I have a php implementation where you send a text to a number. The body of the text will contain receiver phone number and amount. The server behind the framework will receive your text,calculate balance and send an sms to the phone number in the sms message body to pick up funds at a designated location or bank account.

For additional security you can add your pin in the message body so the server checks balance of pin number account and sends a transaction if account has sufficient balance. Also,the receiver gets a pickup confirmation code and must present confirmation code before pickup. The entire process is automated and works on sms massaging.

Sms access number can be USA or European numbers. Don't have Nigerian sms access numbers.

Costing: 2-3k naira monthly server fees, 5-12naira processing fee per incoming message and 2-5naira per outbound message local sms fee.

Yea....but he will need some kind of camera to capture the stream and send to the api. YouTube or Vimeo will help out where you like to conserve bandwidth,these services are not as simple as set up IP camera and go to the IP or domain address to view the stream. I may be wrong but an IP camera is way more simple than using the api of companies like Vimeo etc....
