Education › Distance Learning For Direct M.sc Degree From UK With Low CGPA Or Nigeria? by Dudson(op): 10:57pm On Oct 14, 2020 |
Hello everyone. I am having a tough time trying to decide on where to run a masters program. I have a low CGPA from a Nigerian University and is considering doing a direct masters abroad (say UK) but I'm considering the fee I will have to pay. Distance part time learning in the UK with cost me between or from £7,800 to £15,000 as fees for the 2 years.
For a Nigeria University, I will have to complete the PGD for one year after which I can enroll for masters. The whole thing should take me say 2 years if everything goes smoothly. (without strikes)
Please I need you guys to help me make up my mind. If it is worth doing the distance learning and paying so much or schooling here in Nigeria and manage all the wahala associated with Nigerian schools.
Please I need help! |

Mobidot: Can you please confirm that is if you are the know if there is possibility of another recruitment next year especially for technician position. Someone on this thread whose contributions/predictions regarding this exercise has been on point mentioned something like that. Do you happen to know for sure? SHL tests and interviews were conducted for technicians in 2012 and operators in 2013 so I strongly believe they may be advertising again for technicians by next year 2018. I'm sure some Nairalanders followed those up as well. Wish you all the best! |

A doctor friend has just confirmed that it is unlikely such a test will be conducted as part of pre employment medical examinations for would-be oil/gas workers. It is usually done when there are signs of issues or medical wahala shown or revealed by other tests. |

softrise: Nothing much, just maintain the fasting. They will need your stool, reserve it, very important unless you want to come back a day after. No disrespect but I find this tough to believe bro. Stool? That'll be absurd and too far because there are other better and modern ways to determine what ever is required buy such companies without SHIT. "Test Overview- A stool analysis is a series of tests done on a stool (feces) sample to help diagnose certain conditions affecting the digestive tract . These conditions can include infection (such as from parasites, viruses, or bacteria), poor nutrient absorption, or cancer". Let us please be guided. |

Itstan: Let's hope for good news. I believe it is not over yet. Maybe they might have tried our lines.
From my findings so far, they first called those that got the email invite, before the arrival of the email. To know if they will be available for the date given.
They are yet to confirm our availability too before sending us email invite for medicals.
It will all end in praise. Bro I didn't receive any call but got the mail for medical. In fact, my phone was on all the time with full bars! I'm sure they still operate the wait listing system. So just be hopeful and hang in there. E go be! |
