So I stumbled on this app on Instagram @quick_bank and decided to try it out on Playstore... Well the developers made my day! I later discovered that a fellow Nairalander created it.

The app lets one make bank transactions using the USSD service that all banks provide... For example, GTB users can make 737 transactions by simple clicks!

The owner said there is alot of traffic and the website is affecting their server.

Based on the recent events in the Otodo gbame community that has rendered over 4,000 people homeless and the law suit between the community and LSG. There is an underlying truth LSG has failed to provide.

The most beautiful places in the world are characterised by tall buildings overlooking a considerable mass of water.
Imagine erecting skyscrapers in Otodo gbame, you would have a Dubai-ish lake shore view that fits governor Ambode's plan of a mega city.

By the standard of Nigeria judiciary system and similar cases, Otodo gbame community is in an already lost war with LSG.

But I as a citizen of this nation condemn how LSG went about this demolition. Forget the number of people displaced the demolition process does not speak well of a government that serves the people but rather a tyranny to them.

Leilani Farha, the UN Special Rapporteur on adequate housing said, "International law is clear: there must consultation with the affected community, all alternative options to eviction must be explored, and a resettlement plan must be in place should the evictions be carried out,” she explained, adding “Under no circumstances should force or fire be used”
