rightlagos: If d volume of d trading is high & d mkt is trending heavily, it shows STRONG BUY/SELL. that's when I enter. I used it 2 trade consumer sentiment @ 3 pm last wk friday. I was watching it since morrning. Imdtly d signal occured all STRONG BUY 4 USD INDEX, I sold EUR USD for 20 minutes. In 5 seconds, d trade was green. 2 me, dis signal is beta than many paid ones. It removes emotion from trading. Any1 can try it out. Give me feedback as u will need knowledge of multiple timeframe analysis in forex. All is simple.
Thanks for sharing. Would check it out cool

Abeg, make we no quarrel abeg. Everybody want d same thing.
@Kirinwa. Naijaobi seems like a great guy and not wicked like u think. I've followed some of his signals here and most have ended well.

This one people are saying strategy, strategy, it's nt as if i'm doing anything special. Like everyone else, I have winning days and I have losing days. Some days ago, I made 10 calls out of which 9 were positive. Yesterday, I made five calls of which only 2 were positive, and today I made 2 calls and both were positive. So, nothing really is set in stone. It is still by every means a work in progress.

I basically use EMAs, RSI, ADX, Pivots and currency strength meter. Nothing new or extraordinary. However, what brings me the most success and what i'm learning more and more to do, is to be able to predict, based of course on the trend and overall chart pattern what the next candle or couple of candles would do. Most times I trade off the 30 mins chart. I don't know how to explain this. One just has to understand candlestick patterns.

Another big plus is being able to understand the pair you intend to trade. I know for a fact that one of the most volatile currency pairs is GBP/JPY. It can swing from one end of the world to the other in a short time. How then do u trade such a pair? Do you go for long time frames or short? With these kind of pairs normally wait for it to reach a state of momentary calmness (ranging). I watch the chart on a very small time frame (5 minute and 1 minute, apply bollinger bands and wait until there is a breakout in either direction. Once the breakout occurs, I am 90% sure that the price will fly in that direction within minutes. This is how I place the 5 minute bets I started with until people complained that it was too difficult to follow. Normally, volatility is not a very good thing on BOM, but trading breakouts is one way, I think, to make it work for you. And if u intend to do this, it must be on a very small time frame.

We were all a happy family here sharing and learning freely..and then Mr. Bendazum came with the issue of paying him so he'll send alerts...And the worst is that he's very arrogant..he will sweet talk you to pay in, then he'll show you the oda side once u pay..
Interesting.

wealthmind: dulken

i want u to teach me or let me pay you for signals?

reply
I don't collect money, abeg. I would rather teach (show) than give signals, because if u knw how it's done u can generate ur own signals even better than I do. Do u have knowledge of forex yet? If you don't, let's start from there. After you learn about forex, we can talk about how to apply that knowledge in BOM. Cheers.

seundegs: Thanks for your swift response. How do I get started on Betonmarket and what do I need to know?
First, go learn about forex. A good place to start is at babypips(dot)com. Take classes at the school there. If u don't understand anything, come back and ask questions. After that, we can talk about applying that knowledge on BOM. Without Forex knowledge u cannot succeed consistently on BOM. All the best.

Toks2008: please explain to me in lame man terms.

i staked 400usd so if i win how much will i get and if i lose how much will be removed?
Assume u want to receive a 400$ payout, normally ur stake would be around 200 and sth dollars. So on average u get returns of between 70-90%. In this hypothetical case, let's assume u get a 100% payout if u win, so u stake 200$. If u win u get an additional 200 plus ur initial stake making 400$ and if u lose ur 200$ stake is deducted.

Now when they say the value of your current position, it is simply the amount of money u have staked. When they say the cost, it is the current price of the bet at any point in time someone decided to purchase the same bet after u using the same expiration time as u. If for example u place a no touch bet for EUR/USD, say EUR/USD does not touch 1.2222 in 24 hrs at 240$ for a return of 400$. Assume now that someone intends to purchase this bet 15 mins before ur expiration time (which is not possible, but just assume), and EUR/USD stands at 1.7777. It is virtually impossible that the pair would fall down to 1.2222 in 15 mins and so naturally if this person wants to purchase this bet, for a return of 400$ he may have to pay perhaps 399$ getting only 1$ in profit. This price of 399$ is the cost of your current position.

By comparing the value and cost of your open position you would generally be able to guage the strength and potential profitability of your bet.

Toks2008: USD 400 payout if EUR/USD touches 1.2385 before close (21:00:00 GMT) on 17-Aug-12.
details USD 302.57 USD 240.36

I am demo betting at the moment but somethings here are not clear.

Please someone should explain this table to me.

Bet Details: USD 400 payout if EUR/USD touches 1.2385 before close (21:00:00 GMT) on 17-Aug-12.

The value of your open position: USD 240.36
The cost of your open positions : USD 302.57

these are the areas im confused about. if i placed a 400usd bet then why is value 240 and cost 302? some one should help me out on this

thanks
The value of your open position is the amount you have staked. The cost of your open position is the price at the present time. Hope this helps.

Zeddicus: Hello guys. This will likely be my last post here. After months of running through strategies and not finding something meaningful, i'd be leaving binary options for good. In the last 3 months, its been a round robin thingy, win win today, lose lose tomorrow. On the other hand my forextrading experience has received a massive massive boost in the same timeframe. I've never been this happy with trading grin
My problem with binary options is timing. I haven't found a way around it and am not gonna devote time to it anymore. Kudos to those that have found a way around this. As am typing this, I already have the balance resting in my bank account.
Wish you guys the best!!
I understand your experience. I'm happy ur "forexing" is waxing strong. Best wishes grin grin
