Education › Re: Bill To Extend JAMB Results Validity To 3 Years Passes Second Reading(Snapshots) by dulux07(m): 12:24pm On Jun 02, 2016
MadCow1:
A Bill to encourage patching of result to gain admission.. grin

First and foremost, this bill should be shut down and JAMB scrapped entirely.

Why is it that in Ghana, a student writes WAEC and gains admission into the University based on just his aggregate scores, but in Nigeria, same student will write WAEC, NECO, GCE and patch all 3 together to complete result than go and write JAMB and then write Post-UME just to gain admission into our rundown and useless Universities like UNIBEN, University of Ibadan, Nnamdi Azikiwe University and IMSU. angry

Scrap JAMB,

Fix our Basic and tertiary institutions.

Stop playing politics with Education. Scrap Catchment Area nonsense and the system of recruiting Teachers based on State of Origin. Look into new models and styles of teaching like IPS, Montessori and more for the Lower schools and rehabilitate our Universities. Pump money into Educational research to find a system better adapted for Nigerians.

University Education is not for all.. Let the Naturally gifted ones go to school Free on a scholarship. Let the Athletically Gifted students get an athletics scholarship and let the dumbasses get a student loan or grant to pay their way through school.

Build technical institutions for students to learn a skill.

Our Senate just keeps falling their hand everyday.. Grazing rights bill, Social media bill, Sex for Marks bill and now JAMB bill.. grin

Nonsense.. angry
Can u compare ghana's admission seekers population to nigeria. undecided too much competition here, the system has to be strategic.
Though ur right at the latter part of your comment.

brownskindude:
I knew the Nigerian army where lying. They can't match those militants power for power or strength for strength. Their drills are far tougher than that of the Nigerian army. I'm currently at Ogunu in Warri and I can tell you no level for the military.
Really undecided, the same thing they said back then about asari dokubo and his team during obasanjo tenure, the same thing was said about bokoharam during GeJ tenure. What can we say abt them now. undecided

There is no terror group our soldiers cant match, its just a matter of time, intelligence and motivation.

this is the most myopic, and unreasonable post i have read today. honestly you and ur aunty are crown pessimist. better drop out from that skul, because u are wasting ur time.who told u a graduate can not do bussiness or even do better than ur aunty? i am a graduate secured a good job and ve so many bussinesses, so what will u say abt that?. to the young minds reading this if you foolishly dump ur educational pursue because of the shit you read here be ready to blame nobody bt ur slf. ur aunty situation is that of a blind man who doesnt ve eyes and then concludes that the eyes smells.
Understand the context of a statement before commenting and besides He used the word OVERRATED. Which is true, to an extent, cos most nigerians believe u cant be successful without education.

Politics › Re: Why We Walked Out Of Meeting With Nigerian Govt – NLC by dulux07(m): 2:20pm On May 18, 2016
Personally, i dont think this is necessary now, let them suspend the strike, dialogue with Govt over minimum wage, and force the govt to give itself an ultimatum of when their will be reduction in prices. The country is struggling financially already, too many issues at the moment. strike will only worsen things.

Guy go and sleep or hustle for EWEDU...

If you are living in a lawless society like NIGERIA..
How would you reason properly..

In sane communities, it takes only a terrorist charge to remand you without charges.. Any other thing is your own gain..
Very funny i 4got to laugh undecided
Only terrorist charge, go and do your research well.

please you need to lecture them more.
Corruption has overtaken their competency.
Its obvious. If not, tell me the last politician or wealthy popular individual in this country that was tried and convicted. If ibori was tried in Nigeria, he did be a free man.

OsusuMustFlow:
forget IPOB. He's making sense here. Has Buhari ever respect any court order?
If Buhari does not respect court orders, its because you and i know the judiciary system in this country is corrupt and security is porous xcept we want to deceive ourselves. This country can never move forward that way. One of the reasons ghanians are enjoying better Goverance than Nigeria is because of what Jerry John Rawlings did. He bypassed court orders to fight injustice and corruption. IPOB leader is an impending threat to the country, Dasuki is a bloody thief.
Politics › Re: Why Did NLC Fail So Much by dulux07(m): 9:06am On May 18, 2016
It is not really the love for buhari, it's simply because most people believe in this government and they feel what the government is doing about PMS presently, is the feasible solution.
