PoliticsRe: We Are Committed To One United Nigeria – South-East Governors by Dum4christ: 10:42pm On May 21, 2021
Who cares about the political elites and their useless love for NIGERIA. Keep deceiving yourselves, am sure you know the truth. A referendum will show you that 99 percent of the Easterners are desperately looking to be disassociated from the fraudulent nation called Nigeria.
Aufbauh:
No political elites or successful businesman/entrepreneur will be interested in a divided Nigeria. E get why!

The SE Governors are the unity beggers now.

For those who have relocated abroad with their spouse, was it compulsory that your marriage certificate was from the Ikoyi Registry, Lagos?

Can I use the marriage certificate from any local government registry in Nigeria?

Hi if this is the pattern in your account it is not considered a lumo sum. It is only a lump sum when is is unusual from the usual trend in your account.
IMustWin:
@ICaSNg
@Dwebb
@Other Gurus
Plz in what way can a sponsor who runs a business and normally receives multiple lump sums of over 200k from more than 8 different customers daily all through the 6 months duration give his sufficient explanation of lump sums? Does he need to mention and explain each of these lump sums one after the other in his sponsorship letter?

PLZ HELLLLPPP!!!!!

Nevertheless thank you.
TravelRe: Adventure In Ireland by Dum4christ: 8:01pm On Jul 05, 2020
This is totally correct except for the fact that if you get come in with a CSEP, after two years, you get a stamp 4 and after 3 years in stamp 4, you are eligible to apply for citizenship. So you spend a 5 years altogether to be eligible for citizenship with a CSEP.
ExpressBooking:
Please I beg to disagree with you on the above point.

If your employer filed for CSEP or GEP for you which is valid for two years each, then u are not permitted to take another employment until you have worked one year for that employer. And when you arrive Ireland on these permits you get stamp 1 permission for both. Then after 2 years on CSEP you move to stamp 4, while you have to be on GEP for 5 years to be able to go to stamp 4.

Then while you are on stamp 4 which is PR, you are eligible to apply for citizenship after 5 years. Nobody gets stamp 4 by just getting a job from Nigeria. You can only get a stamp 4 on a shorter route if you are married to an Irish or EU citizen legally residing in Ireland.

Stamp 3 is for spouses or dependants of Stamp 1(excluding CSEP holder) and stamp 4 holders. Any holder of stamp 3 requires DSEP to work.

Spouses of stamp 1 holders under CSEP gets stamp 1G which enables them to work without employment permit.

Stamp 2 and 2A are for students and are not part of reckonable residence towards PR

Level 8 and 9 graduates gets stamp 1G as post graduate work permit

Stamp 1,1G,3 counts towards reckonable residence for PR

CSEP = Critical Skills Employment Permit
GEP= General Employment Permit
DSEP= Dependant/Spouse Employment Permit

FamilyRe: I'm Not Happy With My Mom's Behaviour Towards My Adopted Sister by Dum4christ: 1:21pm On Apr 24, 2020
I am a Woman! I am so proud of your God given wisdom. God bless you and everything that concerns you abundantly for your godly advice. I will continue to pray for you. Op, God bless you richly for standing up for the truth, regardless of the woman involved being your mum. This is hard for the majority but its the right thing to do.. May God shower you with more boldness, sincerity of heart and above all wisdom.
PeacenLove2:
Op, you did the right thing cautioning your mother. It's the silence all these time that has made it come to this level.

Sometimes we all need to be checked. This doesn't mean your mom is a bad person, this is a temptation we are liable to fall into if we do not make conscious decision to rise above it.

Believe me it's not a woman thing, stop deluding yourselves. How many men care about the next meal of his needy neighbours? It plays out more with women because they are the ones who have to deal directly with the situation.

You still need a follow up. This time calmly, discuss with your mother. Appreciate the fact that she is taking care of all of you and the girl. Let her know how you feel when she is treating that girl badly, ask her to try to put herself or any of you in the shoes of the girl. Remind her that no condition is permanent and karma is a respecter of no one. It comes biting back where it will hurt most and it never forgets. So beg her to try harder and have her embrace this child. She is only 10. No child should be away from the love and protection of her parents and where unfortunate, they need that extra attention to be reassured they are worthy. God help you.

And please caution your sibling too. He is too young to be having these anger issues, carrying it out on an helpless child.

Tell your mom your dad isn't happy too and it won't be nice for the family to be divided over this. Yeah, everyone likes to have a picture perfect family; me, my husband and kids but that's not her reality. There's no perfect situation. We just make the best out of life. If she can't do it because of anyone, wouldn't she do it for God? She has become a guardian, a shepherd chosen by God. It's no accident. I hope she heeds and I pray the girl turns out well. Well done again, OP. You did great!

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

"The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything."

TravelRe: Adventure In Ireland by Dum4christ: 5:40pm On Apr 22, 2020
Well I don't think so, houses are generally expensive in Dublin irrespective of your Gender. I am a lady Myself. Sharing a room with someone is the only way you could be paying 390 to 400euros...Making the actual cost of the room 800euros. And not all landlords allows sharing of rooms.
Chiggsglover:
Ladies are one that get it cheaper especially when it comes to single rooms
TravelRe: Adventure In Ireland by Dum4christ: 2:09pm On Apr 21, 2020
I see. That's the only way you could be paying this amount in Dublin.
Chiggsglover:
Yes, with my friend
TravelRe: Adventure In Ireland by Dum4christ: 10:07am On Apr 21, 2020
Hi, are you sharing a room with someone?
Chiggsglover:
I know someone that's living a little closer to the city centre paying €500 for a bunk bed in a very terrible house. What I paid 390 for.
You just have to look for good deals.

You are the only one arguing here. The young man has only shared his positive experience in a country. You unfortunately do not have same yet has refused to leave in place to pursue your ambition. Whether you have a property and he is renting makes no difference!!!

But he still shares a room lol and arguing with someone who has a property in a well sought out area in Limerick.

Let's assume you get 350 a week , spend 65 on shopping 240 per month, depending on your lifestyle there is more .

Eg I still have to pay bills like, electric and gas insurance, internet...

You're living a student lifestyle , that's why you think 350 EUR is money .

I will prefer Ireland a million times over the UK and even the USA. The only country I could leave Ireland for if ever necessary is Canada or Australia. Otherwise Ireland is doing me well. Take a chill pill brother!!! Everyone has their preferences
Focusingmore:
I'm not saying Nigeria is better than Ireland, but Ireland is not as great as the picture he's painting.

I said UK is better. Ireland is only good if you're raising a family but trust me you won't be rich.

You'll also be extremely bored as it is a conservative country.

Canada, UK other countries are better for young educated people with ambition.

It's not late to relocate dear... Different strokes for different folks. If you are not happy in a place... the right thing is to move.. Alot are not happy in The UK, USA, or anywhere in the world Everyone has a different experience. We all must not share in your experience.
Focusingmore:
Here's what you are missing, where are the multi nationals concentrated ?

What is the cost of living where these multi nationals are?

What is the household income in Ireland?

How much contract work is in Ireland , like those project manager, etc jobs?

Keep decisiving yourselves, even Irish people are migrating to Canada UK Australia..

You never see anything, even if you get lucky and get work, dey no go promote you.

Bookmark this site... I have lived it...

Smart people move , I didn't because I had your mindset .. not saying go to Nigeria, go somewhere else.
TravelRe: Coronavirus Lockdown: A Nairalander In Ireland Shares His Experience (Photos) by Dum4christ: 12:31am On Apr 01, 2020
If this country have not favoured you please relocate ASAP! Its probably not the place for you... I am a Nigerian.. I work and live in Ireland. I am a health professional ! My life is much more better and happier than what it would ever had been in Nigeria! I am also better than alot of my colleagues in most developed nations like the UK, and even some parts of the US...Let me leave it here...
Focusingmore:
Ive worked with several companies, they don't promote you for years.

When you look back your life is gone.

You have bigger better opportunities in the uk.

Please tell me how many multi nationals are in Ireland all together.

Are you telling me you can't see people are struggling? For real.

Half of the Irish population are on low income jobs like retail, admin , hospitality etc.

Brah be honest it's not great, after many years you'll realise you're making a big mistake especially if you are well educated.

Trust me , I'm not trying to be mean, just honest.

Just send an email to them saying you had submitted the passport earlier with the appeal whatever they reply will guide your next step.
AJtoDublin15:
Hi,
I am new in this forum.
A return courier envelop was not sent together with an Appeal Application for Irish visa in Abuja. This Appeal was granted and the Applicant is being asked to submit her passport with proposed travel dates. The Applicant's passport was included in the Appeal as requested in the initial Refusal letter.

Now is it possible that the Applicant's passport is in the Irish Embassy, Abuja without the visa officers being aware? Like the Appeal documents and passport shoved in one corner?
