I have a friend who married a Dubai based nice guy about 3 years after someone broke her heart. She drives a car, works in a good university and is generally comfortable.

When we last talked, she told me she still talks to that her ex and even prays for him. I asked why? She said he is the only one she has ever loved.

But what of your husband? She said, she is learning to love him(after a fuqin 2 years of marriage o).

Another scenario, true life story.
This one na like good sister to me. Schooled abroad and all that. The guy she dated for 5 years and married, got a child with is not her true love. Her true is in Dubai and they dated for 6 years. Her husband is a very very good guy who gave her everything. She told me, that it's the ex she loves(yet these mudafuckers would always fight when they were together) and she is now learning to love her husband. She even still communicates with the unmarried ex.

I kept my face deadpanned after these real life stories. I already know in my mind that most naija women don't marry who they love, just who is ready.


N.B: My advice is that you either ignore her behaviour and face your own hustle or make her quit her Facebook haunts. The former could make her sit up and do right (hopefully) while the former will make her know she can use that to control you,since you easily get jealous. Either way, you need to fix her...because if that ex happens to stay alone with her in the same room overnight, I can guarantee 70% of what the outcome will be.

I hope the guy is not an ex, if he is, that makes her an alpha widow and she could cheat with him if the opportunity presents itself. If the guy’s a celebrity or just a random fine guy, she definitely has a huge crush on him, she’s in her hoe phase like it’s stated above.
