Religion / Re: How Were People Solving Their Spiritual Issues When There Was No Christianity by duruallwell25(m): 4:49pm On Jan 21, 2015
Religion as introduced to africans by the colonialists has only done two things
1. Turned the Bible reading fellows into Hypocrites
2. Turned the Koran reading fellows into extremists
The resultant effects of the hypocrisy and extremism are hatred, and disunity amongst the people. Back to the topic, before the advent of religion not just Christianity to dis part of the world, our tradition was potent. Our culture was rich and vibrant and very well practiced and these solved many of our problems ranging from physical disputes to spiritual problems. Religion (Christianity and Islamism) is just a distraction from our rich culture, a tool d colonialists has used to label our african practices as demonic, fetish, and discouraged us from practicing it yet they came here and carted away all our oracles and deities for their own benefits having realised its potency. Those days wen we practiced our tradition, there was love, peace, security and fear of destroying lives and property unlike today where amidst Religious indoctrinations there is no regard for life. Neither Christianity nor Islamism has helped d Nigerian situation. Political office holders swear with the bible and Koran yet they still steal and kill the citizens and gullible religious bigots say God is merciful instead of admitting that the so called holy books are just menu lists, they have no potency unlike d oracles that are incorruptible. I challenge all political office holders to swear with Ogun, Okija, Amadioha, etc and see if they won't govern us with their conscience. Religion and its practices is the bane of all our problems.

It is how daft and clueless you're ? I'm sure you've got maggot feeding on your brain cells not tp know what to expect to find in a data centre. How do some of you talk and reason like the pigs you were trained to be self.

What has somebody registering 19 times got to do with INEC CLONED PVC that ogar told us was taking place there? Is it the duty of DSS to findout that? Don't people do multiple registeration for INEC registration ? Is the Party an angel to detect and prevent people from registering as many times as they like? Is the data capture and verification taking place in that office invaded not aout reconciling and detecting and deleting multiple registration ?

How is it a concern of the DSS if somebody registers 100times for the APC? Is the registration not just an APC affair? Idiocy and stupidity flows in your blood since it is am hereditary trait. Stupid mofo.
its disgracing not to know that multiple registration is a criminal offence, so shut ur bleeping mouth and use ur brains if u have one.

Its a good thing that we acknowledge d fact that Super Eagles didn't deserve to win d last AFCON but won out of Luck. The truth of the matter is that few months before the Nations cup, The Father of Creation, Sat guru Maharaj Ji DONATED the AFCON to Nigeria as a gift for hosting Maharaj Ji for 33years, as at then. Lo and behold Nigeria won the cup. Now instead of the NFF, Players, and Coaching crew to show appreciation to Maharaj Ji for HIS unshaken support even wen all Nigerians predicted doom for the eagles, they all rallied round TB Joshua's SCOAN to say thank you. Maharaj Ji being a father didn't relent in his assistance went ahead in an interview with SWAN promised Nigeria the 2014 world cup but dis time either the NFF, Coaching Crew or the Players should come to Maharaj Ji for directives. But they ignored Maharaj Ji saying don't mind dat bearded man who lives in Ibadan. Even though the odds were in our favor Nigerians didn't grap d opportunity given by Maharaj Ji for Nigeria to be the first African nation to lift the world cup. Keshi thought it was his coaching skills that won him the nations cup same with d players and NFF not knowing it was out of the grace of Maharaj Ji. Now Maharaj Ji has left them to play the game and the so called defending champions can't even qualify from the group. what a shame!!. I am calling on Nigerians to seize the opportunity to recognize Maharaj Ji for keeping dis Nation together despite all the plans of d forces to destroy d nation. cos the indices of war in other countries is not up to one-tenth of what is happening in Nigeria still Nigeria is still standing tall.

I had 'A's in all the Mathematics courses i borrowed from 100L to final year (not boasting), but that'll never make me say Mathematics is an easy course to study.

u are right but physics no hard....true talk

Its relative. Its determined by the individuals and the institution. Some courses in some Schools could be a direct walk-over while same course in another institution would be a rocket science. Some Departmental Lecturers in some institutions are just devil-incarnate.

But, generally speaking, if PHYSICS (with its affiliated courses) isn't part of your list then you need to consult your dictionary for the definition of "hard". Damn! That course is so "broadly abstract" and its the bedrock of many other courses a la professions. I hail those who get power to study am.
Physics was the easiest course I ever took in school. I studied Biochemistry in school (OAU). Biochemistry Na die though I show am say me self Na iron.

ALAYORMII:
Summary of Chiwanda's Presentation

Good evening to all PROGRESSIVE INDIVIDUALS.

My name is chiwanda. A graduate of psychology from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. Am dominantly sanguine with a mixture of melancholy, these are the major temperament dat are overt.

Psychology is the study of behavior of EVERY LIVING SPECIE OR ORGANISMS

What is psychology all about. Psychology is the study of behavior n mental processes. Every individual is influenced by nature ( hereditary) and nurture ( environment). The behavior means your character, temperament, trait, personality and so on. The mental process is your cognition, thinking, perception, emotion, ideas etc. We have basic psychology and Applied psychology. Basic is all about the school of thoughts n so on. While Applied involves the application of psychological principles in to every phenomenon. There is a difference between psychology n sociology. They both study behavior from different perspectives.

Before I continue , I would like to say this... I will try not to use psychological terms in order to enhance effective communication

There is a difference between psychology n sociology.

In psychology we study individuals but in sociology they study people in group

We have social psychology that is different from sociology. In the sense that social psychology studies individual ideas, thoughts , thinking about a social situations

In applied psychology we have the following. Which are psychology in use. They are.

1. Educational psychology, 2 forensic psychology. 3 industrial psychology, health psychology, clinical psychology, school psychology, environmental psychology, the list will continue later

The topic am to enhance is PARENTING STYLE.

We have authoritarian , overly permissive, n authoritative parenting style.

Authoritarian parents are the parents are very harsh n there main thing is. DO THIS BCUZ I WANT IT. There children turn out to be withdrawn, emotional stiff n lacks confidence

Overly persmissive parents act like DO WAT EVER U LIKE. they don't really control their wards or correct their wrongs. There children turns out to be mischievous, bullish n they don't have future plans

U may be asking Y am lecturing on this. My reason is bcuz have come to realize that since nature n nurture influences who we are . Parenting style is part of the nurture. N it has destroyed lives of young individuals in our society in Nigeria.

Nigeria, or most parent practice Africa way of training children.

The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. This statement was brought to this forum by INI admin of this group

And it got me thinking. Nigeria need psychologist in every way of life

By my presentation, I think I WANT to do a little.Taking the counselling psychologist for example. Which I would love to be to the house.

Counsellors, work are to help solve psychological problems, like the emotional which has affected most individuals without them realizeing it. Taking a young female adult, that has graduated but due to d kind of family background ,will rather want to marry.

The question is , is dis gal ready for marriage psychological, financial n otherwise. If u ARE coming into marriage for he wrong reasons. U WILL TELL STORIES. this is where psychologist are needed.

Why do u need psychologist.

Well to answer that , u all did take a standardized test to get here. U may not agree. But ur jamb n post jamb , n other exams are testing ur potentials which is APTITUDE TESTING

Ur waec, neco n ur exams in school are ACHIEVEMENT TEST. They test wat u have acquired on a particular topic or subjects. Now this is d work of EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

The consequences of not having psychologist in Nigeria

For those of u dat go to pastors, imman n priest. I will like to inform u they are practicing christian/ bible psychology for the christians n quaran for the muslim.

But most people's abuse this privileges. As a counselor. They think bcuz u confided in them. They can come out n preach about it . No, they are not PROFESSIONALS.

Bottom line, u can't do without PSYCHOLOGISTS N THEIR PRINCIPLES

brilliant piece

Who is a man of God?.... He is a man who earns a living trading goods and services in the name of God. Just because he goes to study a course called theology, he is a self appointed middle man between God and Man. He manages to convince people that their direct lines to the Creator is out of airtime or unavailable, so a third party operator based call is necessary. He is God's voicemail, relaying messages to and from God. He is someone who collects and manages God's taxes on earth and witholds handling charges for his and his family's upkeep by buying jets and living luxury lives. He is God's confidant whom God shares his future plans freely with no one but him. he is d man of God, d one Called by God.......Hahahahaha u can fool some people sometimes but u can't fool all d people all the time.
