For a country of 200m how's is our military compared to them?

When you answer these questions also keep it in mind that you are comparing one of the world largest oil producing nation with no sanctions to one of the most sanctioned country.

The bitter truth is that even if Nigeria, 4th largest economy in Africa who held 1st economy in Africa for straight 11 years 203-2024 is to fight NK, one of the most sanctioned countries in the world, the war will finish before starting.
NK has icbm that can touch and destroy virtually anything in Nigeria - our sea and airports, bridges, barracks, power stations etc without leaving their country.
By the time their foot soldiers are stepping on our soil, we would have been totally defeated and our chiefs l, kings and politicians would just be waiting for them caps in hands to sign whatever agreement they are bringing.

Very well explained. I should add that this only works for ballistic missiles, like the ones Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah use, since those fly in a highly predictable manner.

It doesn't work (except in very specific situations) for tactical missiles since those fly in an unpredictable manner and can hide in the terrain, making them harder to detect.

This is why Ukraine's western air defence largely fails against Russia while Israel's has been more successful against Hamas.

Russia uses tactical missiles. Hamas uses ballistic missiles.

Israel was also able to intercept Iran's missiles to some extent because Iran used ballistic missiles.

The tables will turn when Israel finds itself at the receiving end of a tactical missile barrage. The iron dome will become a joke at that point.

to be fair there's no AD that's untouchable since they can be overwhelmed not even patriot or s400 they have their own specific purpose and these days missiles production is getting cheaper but AD is getting more expensive, so until it becomes cheaper to defend AD is practically a joke

I think both parties are satisfied with the results of this, Iran sent it message and made history as for Israel AD worked and there wasn't any significant damage.

So don't think iran was going for a kill shot with this they literally said they will retaliate but not to the extent of destroying, even the Western partners sees this as an appropriate response and Israel should backdown.
