if I may ask, is this your first Xiaomi phone? Well, you do not have to panic about the future because, this phone you are even talking about just came out recently. I have been using Xiaomi for long since 2018 and I am currently on Note 9s now (Though i am planning to switch soon). You will be getting updates as at when due and the performance is very smooth (especially if the phone is running from 4gb Ram and Snapdragon 700 processor upward). Xiaomi phones always consume data compared to Samsung A71 I once used. That is my close observation in all Xiaomi phones I have used (Redmi Note 5, Note 7, Note 8pro and even the Note 9s)

@Op, your opinion is contradictory, no sensible Xiaomi users will tell you that all other phones including Samsung n Apple are trash. That's not true, it is exaggeration.
I hope you know more about phone specifications very well? When it comes to King of Android, any day , any time, it is Samsung, especially the S n Note series
Samsung always have unique display with the help of the super Amoled screen. But some Samsung phones are trash for instance, most of their A series. Imagine the back body of 260k A72 is built with plastic though they use Snapdragon ,730 or so
Every phones has its flaws. For you to enjoy any phones, be it Samsung or Xiaomi, you have to get flagship n above not the low budget one. However Xiaomi flagship are always heavy (May be because the body is always build with glass) n their phones always consume data, I don't know why. I started using Xiaomi in 2018, Note 5, I'm on note 9s now. Planning to switch to iOS now
You can not involve Apple, iPhone and Xiaomi are not running on the same OS.

You can only compare Android with Android phones. Be it Xiaomi, Samsung or Tecno, they must have similar specifications. You can't not just generalise it. They don't comparism like that

Note 9pro with Samsung A71
Camon 18premier with Mi 11

I have narrow it down to Samsung A52 and Redmi note 10 Pro.

I currently use iPhone 11 and Samsung A71.

A52 have better camera
Note 10 pro has better Processor Snapdragon 732G over 720G of A52. It also have better battery 5020mah with 33w fast charging. A52 comes with 4500mah and 25w fast charging. Note 10pro Fm Radio

They both have Amoled screen display, same CPU of 2.3GHz Octa core, same 6gb Ram and 128gb Rom at the same price.

Mine was a tecno p3, got it back then in 2015 for 12k omo i rock that phone tire till i eventually sold it for 8k

Mine is exactly like this. I bought same Tecno P3 at 12k in 2015. The phone last like first Bank. I later bought Tecno H6.

Don't bother returning, they will not accept it. That means you didn't do your homework very well before purchasing the phone. You didn't check the specification before buying, just sell n get another one.
You have already tored the carton n activate the phone for use. If you are offered open box phone, can you buy it? You can go n try your luck sha, don't let me discourage you..
