The Contest just added a new twist. We didn't announce a specific date for kick-off initially but we were looking at the beginning of the coming week. As things stand now, we have only received details and profiles of only half of the total number of contestants so to give them all ample time to make these submissions, we give a week break from now. While we wait, the week would be spent interviewing our contestants by Mr. Wristwatch and Miss Dechandel so we can get to know them and have some fun. I do hope we enjoy ourselves as we wait for the D-day. Apologies however for the yet prolonged wait. We don't wish to disappoint you.

Hello Nairalanders,

I welcome you once again to Nairaland's biggest and most popular Competition; The Miss Nairaland Contest 2015 Edition and I remain your host, Dygeasy.

I know most of you have been wondering what happened, why the silence since we opened Nominations and Verifications weeks ago. Yes, we profusely apologize for the hiatus. We had to go back to the drawing board to sort out issues bordering around the contest so as to make it hitch free and totally at a good time.

Now we are back to make it a great contest for all of us and fun too for us.

Before the break, we had quite a sizable number of verified contestants and even nominated unverified contestants and I'm quite sure we will still have more ladies to get nominated and consequently get verified too which is why we are reopening nominations and Verifications for the next couple of days.

As promised, there will be Prizes and Incentives and during our planning we were able to get the support of some people as sponsors however these prizes will be disclosed in due time as we wish to make this a healthy contest and also to make the contestants participate with a pure spirit of sportsmanship.

Now here is another chance to nominate someone or get nominated yourself.

Nominations and Verifications start now and end on the Friday, the 8th of May 2015 7pm (WAT).

Well, personally I'm not one to constantly change my dp from time to time but when I see people doing that same thing the only question I ask is "why?"
