Christianity Etc"......what If....." by e4emma(op): 10:55pm On Dec 03, 2014
What if
...what if dat annoying lady disturbing d peace of d whole bus was right afterall...
...what if dat annoying room mate of yours that refuses to mind his business and
keep talking crap to you about some annoying fantasies of his...
....what if dat guy that stops you in the middle of d road just to hand over a piece
of paper to u with loads of jaggons written on it tellin u to accept something thats so
unreasonable.
....what if those annoying watsapp msgs that were forwarded to u were really
true?
....what if that annoying sunday school teacher of yours was right after all?
....what if your mum was right and you were the one that didnt get it all figured
out...
Just wondering...what if Jesus was real? what if the world is really coming to an
end very soon? What if heaven is real and hell too is real? what if the antichrist is
really here amongst us now? What if tha message you preach and refuse to live by
were really true after all?
Have u ever asked yourself...what if today is the last oppurtunity i have to right
my wrongs and genuinely accept Jesus into ur life?
what if what im saying to u right now that Jesus loves u not without but despite ur
sins and is willing to give u a new start to lige if you would let him were not just
tales my mooonlight but really true?
my dear, the choice is yours to make, u can choose what u want to believe....but
whatever u choose, ask urself ..." what if"? If u choose to belive and live right, u ve
nothing to lose even if it were all false, but reverse im afraid is not d case.
y are u so scared of letting go of ur sinful habits, nature and life? What if.....

d boy is still a baby...taking a snapshot with a random car and using it as dp goes a long way to describe whom our dear op is...moreso someone dat goes on a public platform like this screaming " he's almost a civil engineer" speaks volume too. and lastly, a guy that would com on NL saying he wants to marry two girls dat he is dating ....and responding to every comment isnt one to be taken seriously.....just pity the girls. And in my own observation, i dnt even think d girls exist sef. smh for d kind of civil engineer u are goin to make because u are so uNCIVIL.

Have been pondering on this subject matter for a while. An average guy thinkshis woman is trying to be beautiful and dress cute just for him, which should be the case naturally. But what do you make of it, say for marriied women..they dont need to impress the guy again now! yet they still spend hours b4 d mirror before they go to the market to buy pepper..(lols). Here, the guy is not with her, yet she still paint the crayons and the markers on her face. I feel its more than the guy now, seems these ladies just try to outdo each other. Yet we guys feels we are he reason they go through the troubles.

so ladies, lets hear you! Who do u dress to impress?

Rememberd one day, we actually went for sallah then at Ijebu Ode. After d ram had been killed, we children take the Horn of d ram and attach it to a stick...its a game we boys play. My own horn had actually been the undefeated Champion (from lagos)in my area...d others saw me like a king as in omo Eko. There was dis boy that comes from no where and he actually defeated me. I was so so mad at losing that i decided i wad going to pay back. so i used a longer stick, well equiped with my horn...and off i left ( thank God d adults were busy cooking d ram and food so no one knew i was gone). I searchedfor this boys house, i thought i used to see him around d next or 3rd street then, and those house really looked alike. After a long time of searching i gave up! it was then i relised that i was lost! i dint know home, i dint know where i was, i knew no where around ijebu. So with my horn in my hand i started crying...after a while i summoned courage and begged one okada man, i explained my predicament to him, and i told him d popular junction i hear my sis call wen we are goin home. i begged him to take me dere dat i would be able to locate home. He then agreed to carry me and my horn. But to my suprise dis guy didnt keep to our plan.he actually took me to my house and openly reported me to the team of uncles and aunties that had been looking around for me. even d boys and girls i have been forming lagos boy for too were there. They all laughed me to scorn....i actually felt like dying that day. anytym i rememba dose days...i can help but laugh..lol.

keep d fun. dnt just read , add yours...a way to relieve ourselves of stress jare

When u are about to finish gulping it, u take d cover, u use ur teeth to reshape it so dat it will enter the the bottle, then u shake so that it will become more plenty than it was.....and blive u me, i always belived that it works. lol....

Cant forget d eye service fasting too...u fast 4rm home break with biscuit and sweet in sch, clean ur mouth with sand again b4 getting to ur house so ur lips bcoms dry again ...fast continues... d target is d extra ordinary food u get to eat when u are to break. because if u dnt fast, then u wont partake of d special food...so u fast by hook or by crook

And wen u lucky, you get to sit on d floor in front of d Coloured tv itself. on such days, dear u are like a king because u really get first hand experience its better than even cinema...lol wink

[quote author=Mannylex]Yes the experience in BOI is worthwhile, the ITD is a very interesting place to be, funny enough there are just 4 staff in that particular department(to show you they dont really retain people like that), the boss Of ITD Mr Afolami is a nice man, but tough at the same time would push you to the best, he hates sluggish people.... Since you have a first class, that's cool, just work hard, do a lot of eye service, and pray, u might be lucky, a guy that served there just became a staff after working for 4 years there on the internship level... When did you get the offer for the graduate internship? You applied? Itz really not easy getting there, so count yourself lucky... For my undergraduate internship there, it was through the influence of one of the 'ogas' . [/quote/)

we all knw its potrailed as apple...I mean d forbidden fruit...y not focus on the lesson of d story
Christianity EtcOnly If They Knew, But We Actually Know! by e4emma(op): 6:25pm On Sep 25, 2014
Was just imagining this... its no longer news
that it was d devil that deceived eve into
eating d forbidden fruit..blah blah blah...what
i was just pondering on is this; would Eve still
have eaten d fruit if the Devil came forth and
tell het d truth. The truth that indeed d fruit is
good for food and desirable to the eyes, that
She would enjoy the taste for just a little while
and then the consequences will be that:
- she would lose her closeness to her
husband and become concerned abt covering
herself
- she would lose her home and be cursed still
- she would give birth in pains and horror
- Her older son would kill her younger gentle
and tender son
-She would live over 900 years in mystery
and suffering
- She would die and be eaten by locust,
maggot and worms.
Would she have continued? would she have
given up all that just for a single bite? ur
guess is as good as mine..NO. the devil
deceived her, withholding d real truth and
telling her what her flesh loved to hear. The
devil only needed to set her fleshly appetite
into motion and engage her human reasoning
and that was it...she gave in.
Quite alarming today, d devil no longer hides
d truth from us, he no longer deceives us, we
are the ones that even lie against him. He
boldly tells u that
- Smokers are liable to die young and suffers
d risk of cancer, yet day by day, the number
of smokersis on d increase.
- Pre-marital sex is bad, he advices u to hold
body, or use condom cos AIdS is real and
even condom aint 100% safe. yet people are
still so so bent on it
-Alcoholic drinkers are prone to liver problem,
they advice you to drink responsibly due to it
side effects.
- Ponography indulgers are liable to not
having happy homes when they marry, and
masturbaters might injure their sexual organ
in d act and worse still they might ve p
roblem getting satisfaction 4rm their
spouselater on. yet their is no decline in this
acts.
These amongst other examples have lead me
to the conclusion that d Devil has become so
bold that he tells us that 'hey, dis is fire' and
yet we gullibly and knowingly put our hands
into it. My dear, dont u think u ve gl orified d
devil enough? Y not let us put him in his
place...you know the way u live ur life. D
secret sins and d ungodly addictions! dear,
its up to u, stop the blame game. Stop
blaming d devil! He gave u an option and
God too did! The truth is d deceiver knows
that he is a deceiver...enough of playing
church, enough of claiming hollier than
thou...be wise! THE Truth is just like eve, we have a lot to lose. A great lot
RomanceCare To Join Me? by e4emma(op): 6:17pm On Sep 25, 2014
I might not be scared of a policeman with a
gun (not naija police o) because I know my
rights. I might not be scared of an angry dog
because I can easily tame it with a bone. but
of an angry bitter and betrayed woman! I'm
very scared because she can never ever be
tamed.....only God can. Maybe that's why I
value my women very much that I try all I can
to make sure they don't get to that enbittered
point. Women could be delicate and fragile,
but trust me, you don't want to see them
embittered and betrayed....they can do
anything, go to any length to show their
anger.
Please let's stand up to our calling as men.
Women are meant to be loved not lusted
after, they are meant to be cared for not used
to satisfy our sexual urges. She might seem
to be an easy catch, but behind her lips might
be sweet poison. She might seem weak, but
behind that weakness lies a great deal of
strength that could be +vely or -vely
harnessed depending on how u treat her
weakness. Show her love, respect and
honour and any woman could end up
becoming an angel over night.
I love Women......And I choose to respect and
honour them....care to join me?
Christianity EtcWe Have Embarrased Him Enough by e4emma(op): 6:11pm On Sep 25, 2014
....was in a bus, moving 4rm Sango to Oshodi last Friday, an incident occured, and d driver was almost beaten up by some louts. Then a passenger said somtin dat really striked me! he was trying to calm d driver down , he urged him to b patient and ignore them. His words were " eni ti a ba fo leti ti o ba rerin to tun dupe lowo wa, o ye ki a dobale ki eni na wipe ko ma binu ni"...meaning, when u slap someone, and d person just smiles and thank you, then you should know that its best for you to postrate and beg such a person immediately.
This then brought the words of Christ to mind, praying for those who curse you. Naturally its absurd, but when u really think about it, u realize dat it only takes a man that has mastered his emotion to do such. Being like Christ isn't just about dying on the cross, if u do, u died a wasted death because ur blood ain't gonna save any1. My take is dis, being like Christ is in actions. Christ was spectacular and easy to spot because he wasn't responding to things the way any1 would, he wasn't doing the logical thing, instead he pleaded 4 forgiveness for his persecutors and killers! Dats wat we have to emulate if truely we wanna b like Christ. Guess its high time we truely stand for what we believe, in our response and actions. Men will surely step on our toes, but its up to Us to know how we respond. if u ask me, I feel we have embarrassed Christ enough with our actions and reactions. time to change. b4 u act or respond next time, ask urself...WWJD....what would Jesus do!!!!
