As a Prospective Corps Member preparing for the Orientation Camp which is going to last for 21 days, their are certain provisions you need to make available as a means of survival to avoid any form of traumatic experience. This provison are into two, they are known to be Basic OR Registration and Survival Requirements. They are the Materials you cant get on the Orientation Camp and you cant do without them for that 21 days.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Basic Requirements for participation in NYSC programme.

Below are the highlights of essential items Prospective Corps Members (PCM) should take with them to the NYSC Orientation camp.

NYSC 2018 BASIC AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ORIENTATION CAMP

1. Student ID Card or Final Year ID Card (Original and 2 photocopies) - If you don't have or you have misplaced your authentic students/school ID card, go to the Student Affair Unit of your institution and request for temporary I.D card for NYSC

2. Certificate/Statement of Result from your School (Original and 6 Photocopies) - In addition to this, if you are a Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, an Optometrist or other medical profession, you need to come along with the original of your registration certificate with the Nigerian Medical Council, Pharmacist Board or Optometrist Registration Council and evidence of completion of housemanship or internship and they must not be laminated.

3. NYSC Call-up letter (Original and 3 photocopies) - Do not laminate your call-up letter because it will be collected on the camp during the registration.

4. NYSC Green Card (Original and 3 photocopies) - Also, Do not laminate it! Your Green Card is the coloured printed-out of your personal data, you will get it after the NYSC online registration.

5. Recent Passport Photograph (8 copies) - The background should be White or Off-white.
