@Chikos:thanks for your encouraging and insightful pm. @Lovemeag:I replied your pm but yet to receive your mail. Thanks too..... |
firsttymum:I really do appreciate your response.I guess frustration and confusion (from all that I faced while on this babymission journey here in the US) made me rush down to my "family" here on NL forgetting the faceless aspect of the forum. DH is already sorting it out and we shdn't have any issues again in Newyork. I just didn't want any "yamayama" stress again as we are due to travel home nextweek!Thank you so much fellow NLders.I still love this family (faced or faceless...lol) and love the way we offer our shoulder to one another in times of need.Thank you all! |
lively123:Thank you so much for concern....DH is already sorting it out from Nigeria.I guess it was out of confusion and frustration that I rushed here forgetting the "faceless" aspect of the forum. Especially becos we have had so many disappointments during this babymission journey.. Once again thank you so much... I really do appreciate your concern. |
Earlybird81:Please anyone who can assist with the above request? |
Hello house...Congrats to all that have completed babymission journey, those that are still in the process and those aspiring to someday.May God bless and keep these children for us all in Jesus mighty name.Amen! I have already completed mine and should be enroute my fatherland (quoting Nnytsc..lol) nextweek by God's grace. There is an issue I believe God that someone in the house can be of immense assistance. I have a stopover at Newyork which will elapse the following morning(very early) when the next flight will take us (me and LO) to Naija. The plan was to stay at my aunt's place in Newyork for the stop over. However, the story changed when I called her last week to remind her.She gave an excuse of not being abe to acommodate us again..... Now I'm stranded and don't have a place to stay while in Newyork for the stop over....I would have considered the option of a hotel but I am only left with baggage fees from Houston to Newyork....And can't even withdraw cash again from ATM using my naira Mastercard.... Anyone in this blessed forum who can assist us with a place to lay our heads just for one night? We really don't mind sleeping even on the floor.... |
Nnystc:My mentor and oga madam! I hail thee ma! Thank you so much for all the lessons taught. But for God sending you my way via this platform, I would have learnt some things the hard way.... I can't wait to be in your shoes too jare make I go face my life and family too for my obodo oyinbo fatherland..... Wishing you a happy and very safe stressfree journey.... |
TripleKMama:Thank you so much. You have said it all.No other advice can surpass this your advice...Indeed, honesty always pays and that's what these guys look out for in any conversation or interview...Thanks once again. |
Hello TripleKMama, I applied for a visiting visa with my DH and kids and we were granted though I was pregnant but at the very early stage so it wasn't showing on the day of the interview. Much later into the pregnancy, DH and I decided to have the baby in the US. It will be our very first time going to hv a baby outside Naija and even our first time in the US.So we were not even aware of any "change of intent" letter in the first place. And unfortunately too I wasn't aware of this particular thread (though am a NLder) not until I had gotten to the US.God bless Seun Osewa for this kind of forum and also bless everyone that has contributed / is contributing immensely to this thread. Fast forward to as we speak, baby has been born in the US and we (LO and I) will soon return to Naija. DH went back last week. My concern is this; I hope this change of intent letter we didn't write, will not jeopardise our re-entry or LO's re-entry into the US? NB:We intend visiting the US again next year (b4 our visas expire) with the other kids and this new baby. Please advise a bothered sister. quote author=TripleKMama post=49840230]I nefa watch d video o. No data for now but I tink d first point being dat she no inform at initial interview (just like me) and she no com write change of intent. Which I did. Truth is these guys are so thorough & well trained to look out for other stuffs we may not rily know! Do dey make mistakes in d process? Hell yes! But na their country so make we free dem. Me I wrote Change of intent but got a Generic reply which I still printed out. I no attend d conference for which genuinely got d visa. My mama die. Burial. Condolence. Memorial. Etc. Some pipo Get genuine reasons for not following up wit their plans & truly, God has d final say. And if after every, dem no allow u enter, just carry ur waka back to naija dey pray God to open better doors for ya pikin so. Ayam not a US nor UK citizen buh I dey make am for dis life & after I check out,na heaven dey wait me. Wot else do I live for?. It are not a do-or-die affair biko. Amem? Amem![/quote] |
My dearest sister (Nnytsc) from another mother!!!!Thank you so much for everything and I bless God for a forum like this.Otherwise,I might not hv e-known you.lol. All your step by step guide has really helped me in this journey o.May God bless and guide you too in every and any step you take in life... At this juncture, having helped one another without knowing one another from Adam, I think all 2016uscitizenmothers should hook up somewhere, someday in Naija and of course bringing along our Loving UScitizens.Iol.It will really be nice having a face to the monikers in this particular thread...#nairalanduscitizenmothers2016 Nnystc: |
Nkem4040:On the contrary, Yorubas don't even know the difference btw Delta-Igbos and Igbos.Once you are not Hausa or Yoruba, they refer to you as Igbo.Simple! How can a non native be the one to tell you where you belong or which part of the divide you should fall?Isn't that absolutely ridiculous and a bit shameful to the natives?! |

LadyGuinivere:Thank you my sister. Will check the pages now.God bless you. Wishing everyone a successful story in all phases of this "American Baby" journey.lol.May all our efforts not be in vain IJMN.Amen!!!!!! |
lobus:Thank you very much for your response.God bless you! |
Earlybird81:I am yet to get a response.. Somebody please help attend to my concerns above. It's giving me anxieties already...Please help a sister in dire need of information. |
Good day dear NLs, This is indeed a great forum with people of a very deep wealth of knowledge and experience. To all that have kept this thread alive and informative, God bless u all abundantly and may your fountain of knowledge never run dry IJMN.Amen! I am presently in Houston now still expecting my baby by the special grace of God.I will definitely come back here to give back and share my testimony but for now I need urgent info. DH is with me but will be returning to Naija in about 12days from now. Now, since the baby is yet to land (lol),and DH will b going back soon, how can we get some of the baby's documents that involves him signing so that we don't hv to wait till baby comes b4 doing all that. And besides my concern has been what if baby comes after he might hv left?God forbid sha.I really want him and pray that he will there on d day of delivery....Someone in the house should please enlighten us. NB:I will also appreciate other document procedures, fees and length of time each individual doc takes eg birth cert, SSN, passport, Visa etc. Also a friend of mine mentioned using Tanko or Eddy for the Nigerian Visa and going tru this thread, their names keep coming up especially Tanko, can someone pls help wt his number as well?Let me establish a connection with him b4 LO arrives as I can see from wat hv read on this thread that he's a very sought-after agent. Lastly,we are using Dr E of Oakbend Medical Centre here in Houton. We hv paid her bills but yet to balance the hospital bills (already paid half) and baby shd be due anytime from now. My question is this;is there anyway to go into a payment plan with the hospital after delivery or the balance has to be paid b4 delivery as we intend to balance up after delivery (we really don't intend running away wt their money as we know better how this will jeopardise future visa renewal and entry into the US). Will the baby be attended to if we haven't balanced the hospital bills as at wen baby was born? It's my first time having a baby in the US. I apologise for a lengthy post.....I really need answers and clarifications as am deeply disturbed with the concerns raised above. |

Help a Hello everyone and kudos to those that have kept this thread alive from the very beginning. Actually I am already in the US awaiting the arrival of my precious God's gift any time soon.Had to go through Newyork to Houston cos of POE palava in Houston.I really congratulate those that scaled through the Houston POE. Truth be told I learnt they are kinda thorough there so I and DH heeded an experienced friend's advice who found it very hectic but was all the same lucky and had her baby last year. My question here is this:my host has suggested that I apply for WIC program. Please is it advisable I apply? I sincerely and urgently need an answer.Experts in the house please help. |

Hello Brabus, Gr8 inspiring job you're doing. More grace I pray for you. I called you earlier on the Airtel number (08023429122) you posted in one of your responses but your phone was switched off. Maybe its not your business line. I would have loved to discuss this with you on the phone first but since your phone is switched off, I have to use this medium. We have a project around your office axis and will very much like you to handle it for us. Kindly let me know if you can take up the job because I appreciate your job professionalism and efficiency. |
I need a Toyota Corolla or Camry 1999/2000 model. Oxblood (deep wine) is the preferred color. How much will this cost me? |
In your very first post, you stated 3 colors; wine, ash and green. But in your response to yinkaoke, you said ash is sold, remaining red and blue. Does that imply that you also have blue in addition to the 3 colors earlier mentioned? If yes, post the pictures of the blue and/or green. I'm very much interested. Expecting your response. |
