To apply for PhD studies in UNILAG sef, they will not open portal for you to pay until it is confirmed that there is opening for you in your program let alone charging you one caricature fee. And M.Sc is one-off payment before you sit for the selection exams.

The screenshot below from the UNILAG website says it all that you may not even be a student in UNILAG. M.Sc Admission application form into UNILAG is a single fee of N40,000. Bank charges etc takes it a little,above N40k, say around N42k in total.

The first payment is for application form, if you are successful you now pay for the admission processing fee...

If unilag decide to bring it together then it's their choice.

What the NLC can or should do is not to be asking for salary increase every election cycle.. It's plain unproductive when all it will do is make things worse.. There should and must be another way out.

But there is hyper inflation already so how will salary increase affect it. It's normal to increase the salary. Banks increased their worker's pay did it cause inflation? No, So if the Nlc workers are small like you say I don't think increase in their salary to merge their peers in other similar countries will cause inflation. So I totally disagree with your analogy

The majority of Nigeria citizens are considered poor because the salary is too poor and dependents are no more getting penny like they used to because of the inflation on ground. Was it salary that caused the inflation in the first place!?! So how will salary increase cause inflation whereas there is hyperinflation introduced by Tinubu and apc
