abagoro: One thing about Nigerians is that we are beclouded with sentiments and enjoy lying to ourselves. If the poster has business in mind, then there are 2 areas of Igboland that are clearly top.Pls explain for clarity sake What is heartland and what criteria did you use to classify orlu akwa axis as Igbo heartland. |
Iluvberem:You wan burst my stomach with laugh Make I join you enjoy the money Berem abeg register me ![]() |
We don enter one chance if this news na true ![]() |
GEJ has being proven right Boko Haram is political Can someone tell me how come OBJ has BH contact There is God ooooooooo ![]() No wonder the army handover an armoury to BH by leaving only two soldiers to guard the armoury at gwoza ![]() |
farem: How would they describe this to us? A reverse tactical maneuver?Thats it In short Reverse gear one |
Ikengawo: I'm not talking about government involvement, rather progress w/o government. I knew Nnewi would top the list but Abiriba in Abia is what made me post this thread. A lot of the communities in the Orlu zone are like this as wellIf I am correct One major secret behind their success is the fact that they engaged in micro-financing of long term low interest loans which is direct opposite of modern micro-financing. This leads to financial empowerment of individuals which instills the spirit of socio-economic responsibility in them. Eg Imagine loaning a guy 500 000 loan to be paying 20 000 every month for 3yrs. If the guy do make a profit after expenses like rent and tax of at least 70 000 every month of which he pays his 20 000 loan interest. If that loan gets that guy out of poverty do you think he won't help others My advice to Igbos Let's support community base non collateral long term low interest loans to financially empower ourselves. Then it will be easy for our people to play their role in community development Any community group that fails to engage in micro-financing has not started community revolution. |
meforyou1: yea, okorocha should provide the basic amenities and the communities will do their best. In my village, every male member is taxed biannually for grading of the roads in Easter and Xmas. We have been contributing money since 20 years ago to buy poles and get electricity for d village. Is that what we should be doing? Isn't it the work of govt to provide basic amenities? You guys can reduce the burden by investing in profitable ventures whose profits will be used to build and maintain infrastructure. |
superstar1: The world was not informed that GEJ, Ebele has turned to a y1boman by proxy!!!!He is the new master who stole us from you guys Why not kill him and see whether we will fight for our new master |
That is a part of your post meforyou1: are u sure u read my post well? How can you find a progressive community in imo when okorocha is chopping all the money and doesn't provide basic amenities like roads, light and water? TA Orji same. Compare it with this to see if everything must be govt Sunnybobo3: Most of the roads in Awka Etiti are tarred by individuals. |
Igbo communities that uphold the spirit of helping each other tend to progress faster than those where individuals care for themselves only Nnewi is good at helping themselves Mbaise, orlu zone, some part of Abia if am correct Bende side. |
meforyou1: Op, you can mostly find such communities in anambra and enugu states. How can you find a progressive community in imo when okorocha is chopping all the money and doesn't provide basic amenities like roads, light and water? TA Orji same. Haven't been to Ebonyi but ebonyi communities are too rural to be termed progressives. They are talking of community group development you are talking of govt Individual zeal coupled with common community zeal to industrialize made Nnewi what it is today So don't bring the issue of govt here |
We want an economy that we can live comfortable in. Not big economy filled with hopelessness. |
superstar1: We have dealt with them before at Ore and we shall repeat it, if need be.Pls prove your mastership 2015 election by plotting a coup when GEJ is declared winner After killing GEJ, call the Igbos slaves and attack them |
If it is true I will say to him Poverty is not far away Guys like him should be investing in reasonable businesses He won't reign forever |
superstar1: IncomprehensibleIf your slaves insult you take up your arms and go to war against them Just like the hutus called the tutsi cockroaches b4 rwanda genocide, you can start it to prove your mastership. Its not late to start I forgot Maybe after killing Igbos, you can then proceed to liberate Ilorin ![]() |
Ojukwu stood by the Igbos Zik abandoned the Igbos Ojukwu worked to re-unite his people with their good neighbours Zik destroyed the friendship Igbos built over centuries with their neighbours Ojukwu is more stable Zik easily abandon his struggle |
He is doing it to rig for his second term or presidential ambition The fact is 2015 we will vote him out once APGA or PDP present an economic/financial guru as Governor |
superstar1: Re-uniting whom? or conquering you and making you our war booty. Why then do you complain that they insulted you As a so called master why not plot a coup against GEJ and call them slaves on national tv and then deploy yourselves in battle formation At least BH do call Christians infidels to kill which they do Yorubas like you can start it ![]() |
superstar1: Thank you. The Foreigners are not as rude as a verb like your people, that lack respect for others. That is the cross you guys will pay for re-uniting them to yourselves against their wish in 1970 Its like marriage A man must treat his wife well because he is the one who went to seek her hand in marriage |
superstar1: Who begged y1bos to come back to Lagos? What you imply is that the Chinese Americans Europeans Asians who are in Nigeria and Africa do so because their nations are poor Business men will always travel to make profit Don't forget that our oil revenue is shared nation wide |
superstar1: So because knowledge is power, you should not pay the necessary tax payable for such?If you have engaged in any teaching work, you will see the need to make information available at no cost Today I wish our network providers supply unlimited data at 500 naira and technologists develop phones that are mini-projectors to help teachers show real and animated videos of things being taught eg Imagine teaching kids with real and animated video of the respiratory system in motion. That video will speak more volumes than words |
omololu2020: forget abt all dis i heard on tv stuff,,i do stay wit my friend in ijebu ode atyms,n hav neva heard or seen kiost owner payin 4k,,so if u dont have a source i wont bliv ur storyI pray the story is not true Maybe the person exaggerated But it might be possible it was and still on the high side |
superstar1: So who was left in Lagos, when y1bos ran away. Have u forgotten? The economy of Lagos nose dive The remaining businesses were making few sales because the market population reduced |
superstar1: Did you confirmed that they pay that much. There is no where they are paying that, you can verify your claim. In this age of information, where knowledge outside your field of study can help make life comfortable for you, the govt should be encouraging people to acquire more knowledge not discouraging them through tax Remember If you are not informed you are deformed Knowledge is Power |
omololu2020: show me ur source,i need to know were and how u got ur informationIs an info I heard on TV which I found difficult to believe because to me it is madness and wickedness |
omololu2020: anybody dat own a kiosk and cant pay 400naira as monthly tax to move to d south east,z not a most for any1 to sell in ogun stateI said 4000 naira not 400 naira |
omololu2020: name one igbo man dat z as rich as adenugaIbeto |
tonychristopher: the way they reason baffles me, how can people be so stupid and docile that strangers will come and be maiking money, is it when they go that they can make money. Most who never saw June 12 failed to understand that if non yorubas leave Lagos, the city will fall |
valicious1: I'm stating the obvious truth! Go to owerri and see for yourself.Abagworo won't understand Thanks for stating fact Late Mbakwe performed better even with the knowledge of the 1980s |
