Why add Rooney to the team if he won't be your center forward or at least upfront?

Additionally, why is vardy on the bench when he just ended the season as the most prolific scorer all season??

36 games 24 goals 6 assists is sitting on the bench...

It makes no statistical sense when the team is struggling this much to score against a very average Russian team.

We all owe him a major apology for the way we treated him. I am truly saddened by his death and as much as I was extremely critical of him for his coaching tenure I never wished this upon him.

I pray for safe passage to the next life for him and thank him for his contributions and sacrifice for his country and to the continent of Africa.
