Good question. Some of you may think 01 (Zero One) Shawarma instantly. Probably becuase they seem to have more retail locations than others. Well….. you may be very wrong.

How about some history about shawarma? Lebanon. Yes Shawarma has its root in Lebabnon and as some of you may know, there are so many Lebanese people in Lagos. Most of them have Pizaa and Shawarma joints so why are they not the best? I don’t want to sound racist but i think they kinda cut corners to make more money. Beleive me, ive had tried eating shawarma from several Lebanese owned shawarma joints but they all suck!

The good ones? Naija owned and fully flavoured shawarma joints. The top of my list

Zero One (01) – pronounced ooooh one
Kachy Shawarma (For the Festac homeboys)
Shawarma express (Ogunlana drive in Surulere)
UTC Shawarma (VI UTCshop ony as i cannot vouch for the others)
