hello guys... really been a while.. Actually I spoke with a reliable source in the refinery concerning the excruciating waiting so far.

I was told that medicals where ok/ documentation done already and offer letters already on ground but that the director that will give signature and approval is yet to be back from leave.

that we should exercise patience.

for those that have done medicals no need to panic. there is huge light at the end of the tunnel already.

most of my fertilizer friends we did medicals with have all resumed.. infact I spoke with one of them that have resume and he gisted me a bit about the location of the job and all that.

I still wonder why dey haven't called d refinery guys to resume. its taken longer than expected. usually contact after medicals does not take too long Like this..

well what can be shitty for one person may be cool for another. so guys ask yourselves , are you going for the job for the money only or for the career prospect and exposure. appreciate God for what he did for you by even getting to the medical and subsequently offer..

let's stay hopeful and focused .

wow its been a while.. u see Dangote recruitment is in different form like I said sometime earlier.. some where shortlisted for apt test while others where CV based.

Yea some people where asked to submit their spp letter and pay slip but that was after the interviews unlike in your own case where you said they are asking for these stuffs even before interview..

well maybe your CV says a lot good stuff about you that catapulted you to that that stage of just discussion.

just be positive and you never can tell what God might do, because when God wants to bless a man, all protocols are broken.

As for those of us that have done the medicals.. we might just have to be patient because most people that have been contacted to resume so far are the fertilizer guys.

Most refinery guys have not been called. but if anyone in the house have been called, he or she can prove .e wrong and let others know where they stand .

about the interview, just be able to defend what you have in your CV.

I did my interviews between Nov and DEC last year.

trust me this recruitment process is beyond us, just key in to God, I have actually met people that have already gotten the job that didn't even apply for it.

Also let's be patient, if its yours, it will surely get to you.

am still believing God for my letter...

well a friend of mine I did an interview with got his offer letter yestaday with a mouth watering salary to go with. although its fertilizer not refinery.

@bb4522 I think I disagree with you on this one. you see, the white guy that interviewed me told me that I was being interviewed for management trainee position and that while the construction of the refinery is on going, the new recruits will be engaged in intensive training including inside and outside the country, thereby preparing them for the managerial positions as soon as the refinery is completed.

So the Dangote is not waiting g for the refinery to be on ground before they recruit, rather they are recruiting early in order to train and await the completion.

just keep hope alive.. I believe when they need you they will contact you as long as your status reads awaiting interview

my question is so apart from bukkyche.. so no other person has gotten offer since the conclusion of the tests and psychometric and other stages. because from the look of things no one has come to testify that he/she has gotten offer. and it seems those with CV based clear d awaiting interview are the ones having their field day with Dangote in terms of invites for interview and offer as in the case of buckyche..
