The visit visa should improve your chance provided you meet the POF requirements. An alternative way is to come in with your visit visa since you already have that and then apply for a SP. I think this will be faster and easier.

Not sure what the manager told you is correct. I got mbs this month from GTB. I would advise you submit your application with the statement you generate from first bank internet banking.

I also need to upload my bank statement login from the bank. The bank platform was down throughout Monday and had to submit with the statement I generated from the internet banking. Only for them to call on Tuesday that it's ready

Shiid, I'd be panicking too. But I think you can upload any additional document you missed in the first place. You need to log in to your IRCC account and there's the option to upload additional docs after submitting the initial application.

If you can get MBS it will be better, it reduce the size of your documents and also make them more legit because they come directly from the bank to the embassy. They likely don't verify it.

I think some schools sent PALs along with LOA for those that applied recently. Hwever, it won't be out of place if you mail your school to inform them you re expecting the PAL, inorder to apply for your study permit.
