2 bedroom flat in Dubai? You must be Dangote pikin. The MONTHLY rent of a single room self contain in Dubai exceeds what majority of Nigerians pay ANNUALLY for rent of 2 bedroom flat. yungchop: |
If you don't mind a menial job, you will be fine. There re thousands of Nigerian graduates in UAE doing menial jobs like Security, waiter, aluminum work, etc. But with this covid-19 lockdown and the attendant loss of jobs, this may not be the best time to travel for economic reason. ebuka10box: |
Don't be too quick to blame Nigeria or our leaders for every evil news you hear about Nigeria. The kidnappers re the useless ones not the country. Yes, the economy is bad, our leaders re selfish but re these enough reasons to venture into kidnapping & even killing innocent souls? Common! curryjuniour: |
So sorry about that. One of the lessons I learnt this year is related to this. I have learnt to understand I can't play God in peoples' lives. Almost 800k loan within 3 months & I have only recovered less than 150k which I received in about 6 instalment. I have become less nicer. vickydevoka: |
Am happy you re safe. Missing your show already |

Though I do not have a car yet, a driver shared his experience on Thursday of how overheating problem almost made him sell his sienna car. He spent a whole lot changing parts without any improvement until he met someone who advised him to remove that silencer( hope I got the spelling right?) and check for blockage. I can not recollect the name of the silencer part that blocked but ever since he fixed that the car had been ok. According to him, the blockage would return the heat back to the engine and dry up water. You can try that |
Don’t you guys have any meaningful thing to do with your lives than just making tribalistic comments? I do not know your age but am sure you re old enough to have him as your youngest brother if not your son. So you need to grow up. Same applies to some ridiculous yorubas ( I am Yoruba) who go about typing Afonja everywhere whenever a Yoruba man achieves a feat. You guys really need to grow up. These people you attach yourself with have made a name for themselves and they re not even proud of you. Try achieve something meaningful with your life other than just attaching yourself with every unknown achiever in your tribe. You too do something |

Nigeria at 57. We may not have anything tangible to celebrate as a nation at 57. Obviously, we are lagging behind among the comity of nations in terms of development. Corruption, high rate of unemployment, servitude, secessionist cry, hate speeches, inter tribal conflicts.. have all become synonymous to Nigeria. But all these re not peculiar to Nigeria even though I agree ours are alarming. National governments & international bodies re becoming handicapped to attend to the ever increasing needs of people. From the Catalonia referendum for secession in Spain, to the Rohingya massacre in Myanmar, strings of attack and Brexit uncertainties in UK, hurricane Irma in USA, North Korea ( Rocket man) and USA brewing war, the safe havens are becoming unsafe. Though just like our leaders, I have failed over the years to come up with a definite solution to all our problems but I can tell what the solution is not. I know ridiculing our country on social media won't solve our problems, calling ourselves names because we re from different tribes won't, pessimism, hate speeches, intolerance, all these will only divide us further. Even having your brother in Aso Rock doesn't guarantee Nigeria being a sought-after country. Lets always pray for the peace and prosperity of our Jerusalem ( Nigeria). We may be far from the seat of power, but our words of prayers can unseat every leader that flourishes in the penury and underdevelopment of Nigerians. I believe in the entity called Nigeria Happy Independence Celebration. Ariyo, Ebenezer Mayokun

In Terms Of Employment Opportunities, accounting is far better & even much easier to study. I studied economics at both Bsc & Msc with a wonderful transcript. But getting a job that requires pure economics knowledge is difficult my guy. But there's a way out if you re not lazy, you could combine your Bsc Economics and ICAN |
Some of those guys would have made a First Class or upper in a university in UK or US. I disagree the students were unserious. Anyone who has passed through a public tertiary institution ll testify to d fact that some lecturers re evil and wicked. I also have my story to tell in the hands of PG project coordinator in Economics dpt Unilag. Some Nigerian lecturers re frustrated beings |

Aso Ebi is no sin but when it becomes a basis for admitting people into some gatherings or participating in some activities it becomes a problem. In churches these days you see people (especially women) missing services cos they couldn't afford Aso Ebi |
