These are the 7 Ijaw Lgas in Akwa Ibom State.
1. Eastern Obolo, 2.Ibeno 3.Mbo 4.Oron 5.Urue/Offong/Oruko 6. Okobo, 7. Udung Uko. These 7 Ijaw Lgas submitted a Save Our Soul documents to Ijaw House last week because of the remapping evil plot by the Governor. Speaking to news NAN, the Ijaw National Congress President Prof. Benjamin Okaba sent message to Udom Emmanuel that an attack to any of these 7 Ijaw LGAS, mean attack on all Ijaws. Ijaws were unjustly balkanized into 6 States of Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa Ibom States with Bayelsa as the only Homogeneous Ijaw State, when all Ijaws are fully together and are not scattered by God. Ijaw have 12 LGAS in Rivers State. Ijaw is the largest tribe in the Niger Delta, the Prof also said this to the Governor of Akwa Ibom, so he must be very careful. Do you know that Arogbo and Ilaje fight, even Bayelsa Ijaws were many there claiming Ijaws of Ondo. Gbaramatu and Itsekiri fight, even Edo Ijaws were in it claiming Gbaramatu Ijaws. You attack one group of Ijaws, it means you attack all.

We Ijaws have 7 Lgas in Akwa ibom. Akwa Ibom have 6 tribes.

We Ijaws have 12 LGAs in Rivers.

Ijaw language is tonal,,, unlike igbo where people speak different languages and have different cultures..

no igbo man can ever in his entire life understand when an Ebonyi man is speaking..

Ebonyi people language has no single resemblance with igbo language...

but Ijaw language is not that differ....

Kalabari and Nembe can be understood by some bayelsa Ijaws....but only delta Ijaws cannot

We in Kolokuma Clan understand Nembe to a very great level.

Epie and Atissa are even two different Ijaw Clans.. Yenagoa itself is part of Atissa Clan but majority of the metropolis fall into Epie Clan

Please, people are saying Yenegoa is not an Ijaw town, and that Ijaw is only 3 local governments in Bayelsa and the governor is named Duonye Diri.

I'm trying to prove them wrong but I need help. What does Yenegoa mean in Ijaw language. Once tell them that, it will finisht he arguement. They are saying the capital of Bayelsa is not Ijaw

Nothing like Yenagoa. It is Yeni--Oguo it is the other name for Ovom people in Ovom Community, Atissa Clan, Ijaw Ethnic Nationality. Till today, Government House is still in Ovom.. Sanni Abacha put it there because Maryam Abacha is from Ijaw and from Yenagoa.. Till today IYC members spend endless time in her house... Like Asari she changed to Muslim and her husband called her Maryam.
