EmeeNaka: This is not Southern presidency. This is strictly a Western presidency. Correct. What I find annoying is that most of the people coming to beg for money for food sre still them. But why would their presidency be such a disaster despite all the claims that southwesterners are more educated than the north....yen yen yen sufferstication. |

NaMe4: I'll only address this your statement for educational purpose so naive viewers won't be deceived.
There are NO aboriginal Igbos in Edo State, except migrants. The Igbanke some of you keep mentioning are not Igbos, except, of course through migration and intermarriages, you may have a growing population of Igbos within the area.
I wonder what lie is next. Igbanke was cut from Anambra abi?
A solution to all this propaganda and misinformation would be placing a ban on these rampant installation of Ezes on our lands, so all these insincerity will rest. Besides, we don't go to Igbo lands to install Obas or Enogies of Edos there. I love the way you guys jump in to lie out of your traditional hatred for Ndiigbo. Look at the map of Igbanke, I'm sure you saw Umulua and Obiogba, clearly two Igbo names. This means that Igbanke and Umulua are clearly two peripheral Igbo communities as seen from their names. To you, Emeka is now Edo name, keep lying to yourself. By the way, what does Igbanke and Umulua mean in your language. Answer that first before I tell you their meanings in Igbo. Only Igbos that deny their heritage would be deceived by the Nigerian British inspired divide and rule against Igbo. We know berra, even why the British started it. They know must of you black tribes are manipulable enough to keep doing their biddings in a thousand year. Not Igbo.

Lindlady: Innoson should expand to accommodate for this kind of demand. They are no longer a baby car manufacturing company. With the high cost of doing business in Nigeria, the expansion might work better in more conducive countries. Imagine INNOSON outsourcing its factory or building a factory in China. |

Goodvibes007: Igala Origin of the "Igbo" word = Slave Seun. So people can't have intelligent discussion on your website? How pathetic. You need to visit foreign forums such as Reddit to see how organized and decorous things are. One individual has been spamming a topic with dozens of irrelevant images for houra and your moderators can't even detect it because rhey either don't know their work or are too lazy to eafrn their pay. How do you expect intelligent people to take this site seriously? You should have a permaban for trolls like this. That's how reasonable forums do it. Permanent IP ban because folks like this Goodvibes007 add no value to the discourse but infamy to us all as Africans. |
Politics › Re: Can Ilorin Be Recovered Again? by EbinPawaGovt(op): 6:23pm On Jun 14, 2024 |
Christistruth00: The Yorubas in Ilorin had done a revolution against the Emir because of the Fulani's excesses in Ilorin and after which Emir Momoh deleted himself by burning down his Palace over his head People.used to think that it was the Northern Emirs that pressed the British to reimpose the next in Line as Emir in Ilorin but it didn't make sense to me because they way the British operated they would have first sought after one of balogun alanamu's immediate relatives who was willing to submit to them to replace him as balogun
It was not until I heard one Historian saying that the reason the the British reinstated an Emir in Ilorin was because he was the one who gave them the secret information with which the Sultan of Sokoto Attahiru who had escaped after loosing to Lord Lugard in Battle was traced to Gombe and finally killed by Lord Lugard there
The British rewarded the Emir by reinstating him.as Ilorin's ruler But still yet when the British left they agreed that it was not appropriate for him to be ruling over a Yoruba Majority Town and there needed to be a Referendum for all of Kwara because apart from Ilorin most parts of Kwara including Jebba were not under the Emir and wanted to rejoin the Western Region It was Azikiwe and Balewa Govt that refused to carry out the Kwara referendum because they knew that the Kwara people were determined to join the West and Bakewa and Zik Govt wanted to weaken Awolowo' Can I see the source of this information? |

LOVEALAIGBO: The danger of taking your pacifist position is that you will now be leaving the narration to be falsely told by the very people (outsiders of the region sef) who despise you! Had i not been vocal on this forum, they'd have you believing that i, from Ndoni in Rivers state, is not Igbo! Thank you. What they do not understand is the power of one story. Imagine Igbo children growing up not knowing that Nigeria is a country that hates them. Imagine that some of us grew up thinking that the north is the problem of Igbo because of their religion, not knowing that another southern tribe is the rat eating the yam behind the scene by hiding behind the north and projecting Fulani as the main problem. It took the enlightenment of our educated uncles to make us know the tribe behind Nigeria's problems. If we don't speak out today, how would the younger generation know that there is an active war against the Igbo nation since we lost our soverignty to the British and its business enterprise called Nigeria? We must make all Igbo clans carved away due to political spite to know that Igbo are one whether in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Kogi, Edo, Bayelsa or elsewhere. Igbo must be united the way we lived before the British and Nigeria divided us.

Justnation: Several attempts are being made by enemies of the Igbo nation to create divisions among the collective IGBO brothers and sisters.
It is important to State clearly that the IGBOS in Nigeria are one united and indivisible entity.
The IGBOS are domicile in the present South East, major part of Delta State, major part of Rivers State, Akwa ibom State, Cross River State, Benue State, and kogi State as well.
Since after the civil war attempts have been made balkanize the Igbo nation and create enemies among them in other to weaken their strength and collective efforts at greatness.
All these evil plans and proposals have failed and will continue to fail woefully.
IGBOS are ONE, UNITED, INDIVISIBLE AND PROSPEROUS NATION, and will remain so. No way for the intruders come between them. How could you miss our Igbo clans in Bayelsa and Edo? I have a friend from Edo, his name is Emeka. That's not an mgbati name. |

Igbo native speaker is what I wrote. I know your problem is comprehension.... NATIVE. You gerrit? Half education is illiteracy. gidgiddy: Get a life, the constitution of Nigeria does not recognise anything called SS or SE. The Anioma area are Igbo speaking people with a very small number of Olukumi and Igala. Asaba has been an Igbo city since time immemorial Just say Igbo People. You can't be Igbo native speaker without being Igbo. Anioma are Igbo, west of the Niger. |

It's not adding value to them but Igbo. Don't you know their interest in Nigeria is based on crude oil from SE and SS? Remove free crude oil from these regions and they'll go back to shouting Oduduwa and the subsequent Operation Wetie and another 100 years of internal crises. Anioma state is something that favors Igbo and anything favoring Igbo is against their vision of a lopsided Nigeria where only they (and Northern Fulani) freely steal Igbo and siuthern minorities oil for the heck of it. |
