The New Believer's Inheritance

In the old testament, God told his children that they would inherit lands and other physical possessions. But according to the new testament, those who repent and receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour will inherit a kingdom specially prepared by God, a place not made with hands, a place that is so beautiful, we don't even have the right vocabulary to describe it.

Colossians 1:12-14 KJV
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: [13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: [14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

When we commit sin, we open ourselves to attacks from the devil. And the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy. We lose money, time and so many other valuable things when we sin. Think of Adam and Eve. They had everything: a beautiful garden, more food than they could eat, peace and serenity. However, the devil came and tricked them into sin. They lost everything and suffered for their disobedience. In the same vein, we suffer various consequences when we commit sin. Nonetheless, when we come to Christ, everything we've ever lost can be restored back to us.

POINTS TO CONSIDER

1) The Promise of a New Inheritance

Ezekiel 36:11 KJV
And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord .

When God begins to bless you by reason of your inheritance in Christ, you will know and say that God is God.

Ezekiel 36:26-30 KJV
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. [27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them . [28] And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. [29] I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. [30] And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

Luke 1:68-75 KJV
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, [69] And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; [70] As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: [71] That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; [72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; [73] The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, [74] That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, [75] In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Everyone who comes from the seed of Abraham (such as you and I) are entitled to the promises of God once we accept Jesus.

Galatians 3:13-14 KJV
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The only thing that shuts the door to Gods promises in our lives, the only thing that keeps people from experiencing God's blessings is sin. To enjoy God's blessings, you need your sins to be purged, idols to be taken away, and stony heart to be removed.

John 10:10 KJV
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

2) The Provision of a New Inheritance

Ephesians 2:12-17 KJV
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us ; [15] Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: [17] And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Hebrews 13:12 KJV
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

To sanctify someone means to make them to be without sin. Jesus took away all our sins with His blood. Without His sacrifice, we would be desolate and lost forever. Give thanks to God, dear friend. Bless His name for His loving Kindness.

John 16:5 KJV
But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

3) The Partaker of the New Inheritance

Before you eat, you need to do meal preparations. Before you enjoy any commodity, you need to make some effort to acquire it. In the same vein, if you don't do what God asks you to do, He will never do what you ask Him to do. If you want God's blessing, you've got to be a person of faith and prayers.

1 Corinthians 10:20-21 KJV
But I say , that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. [21] Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

You can't be committing sin and expect to receive blessings from God. Now, you might say that a person can make it in life without serving God. That's true. But the thing is, you're going to face many difficulties along the line. A person who is neck-deep in sin tends to experience things like depression, anxiety, diseases resulting from engaging in sexual pervasions to relieve stress, sickness such as liver, lung and kidney problems after smoking and drinking, etc. But when you're a child of God, these are all temptations and trials that you can overcome. Also, keep in mind that achieving success on earth does not guarantee a good afterlife. You can have billions during your short time on earth but can burn for all eternity in your afterlife.

2 Peter 1:3-9 KJV
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: [4] Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [5] And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

If you haven't repented yet, I urge you to do so, dear friend. Death can come at any time. Where will your soul spend eternity?

Read this to the end to find out how valuable your soul is.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it. But whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and for the gospel's sake, the same shall save it.

For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of Man be ashamed when He cometh in the glory of His Father amd the Holy angels.

Now, the bible teaches that you have a body. But living down inside of your body is your soul or your spirit. Your soul is that part of you made in the image of God that lives inside of you and that's the eternal part of you. That's the important part of you. That's the real you. That's the part of you that will be living a thousand years from now, either in heaven or hell.

Jesus said one soul is worth the whole world. You may gain the whole world and awaken one morning to find that you've missed the most important thing in all of life. Why is it so valuable? Why is your soul so valuable?

First, it's valuable because it is eternal. The body is a beautiful structure. But it is matter. No matter how strong it is, it will die. It's appointed unto man once to die; you're going to die. Your body is going to go to the grave.

Death is man's greatest and personal enemy according to 1 corinthians 15. So many of the great actors and actresses we've seen on Television are already dead. Fame and fortune cannot keep away death. Howard Hughes was the richest man possibly in the United States when he died, but he died; a horrible death and miserable life towards the end of his life. So many people like that ,and somehow, they think they're going to live forever.

You tell young people that life is short, and they smile and say yes, but I have at least 30 or 40 years left. But let me tell you, the years pass by very quickly.

There's something beyond science and the scientists know it. The bible calls it soul. What is it when a person dies, the body is there, the organs are there, but something has gone out of the body. The soul. The spirit has gone out of the body. Where has it gone?

In Ecclesiastes, it says, 'Then shall the dust return unto the earth as it was and the spirit shall return unto the God who gave it.'

Now which do you care for if you're a parent, a child's clothes or the child?

Imagine if a servant says, "Here are the clothes, neat and clean. But the child got lost." What would you think of that? And that's what we say. We've taken care of our body, Lord. Here's my body. I didn't neglect it. I took exercises seriously. I did all those things. I jogged regularly, I ate the proper foods and I made sure I took the vitamins and the minerals.I went to see the doctor regularly. I went to see the dentist too. My body is in good shape...until it dies. And Lord I took care of it.

But I neglected my soul. I didn't feed my soul. I didn't give any vitamins to the soul. I never read the scriptures, Your Word. I never spent any time talking to You and developing myself spiritually. I didn't obey You when You told me to love my neighbour. I didn't obey You when You talked about that neighbour down the street that was hungry, or that neighbour that was in need of a friend, that was lonely. I just didn't have time for things like that. But Lord, I really took care of my body.

Now, what do you think the Lord is going to do? You see, the body is the house and the soul is the tenant. And it's eternal. You can't be unborn. You were born to live forever and you cannot be unborn. You can't stop the process. You can change the direction of your life. Jesus said there are two roads in life: a broad road and a narrow road. The broad road leads to destruction and the narrow road leads to eternal life. And you're on one of those roads right now. Every person reading this is on one of those roads.

You can change roads. But you can't change the fact that you're a living soul and you're going to live somewhere forever. That's a sobering thought. And you've only got a few minutes, or a few hours, or a few days, or a few weeks or months to make the decision about which road you're going to be on.

And then, your soul is valuable because of God's concern. The whole Bible is concerned with the saving and developing of the soul in many ways. The Lord is longsuffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Notice that. God is not willing that you should ever perish. God doesn't want you to be lost. He wants you to be saved, so much so that He has delayed judgement to give you time, so much so that He gave His son on the cross for your sins. But God commended His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

He was the ultimate sacrifice.

But the scriptures says, herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His son to be a propitiation or a covering for our sins. In other words, when Christ died on the cross, He was expressing the love of God toward you and by His death, covering your sins. Every sin you've ever committed, he covers. At the cross is where it was done for you.

Fourthly , the soul is valuable because of the nature of its loss. When a community or a neighborhood loses one of the children they love, everybody suspends what they're doing to help to find that child. Likewise, your soul is so incredibly valuable to God, that He has commanded every saved soul to relegate their earthly pursuits to the background and try to save those who are still lost. What have you done about your soul?

You lose things in this life. You can't get it all. Imagine you had the whole world, but you can't get the whole world. You can't even get a quarter of it. You only get a small slice, that's all.

And you can't take ANY of it with you. We take nothing with us, and yet we spend our whole lives trying to pile it up. Even if you've got it all, it doesn't bring peace, happiness and joy. It doesn't help in time of trouble. And then you lose in the life to come too.

Finally, your soul is valuable because of the price paid for the redemption: 'for as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold, but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.'

But what about your soul? What if you lost it? What if you're losing it? What can you do about it?

Today you can repent of your sins. That word 'repent' means to say, "Lord I have sinned" and you're willing to turn from your sin. God will have to help you to turn because you can't turn by yourself, you don't have the strength to. But He'll help you. God bless you friend.

Sirseedorf:
The fathers of the world, the mothers of the world, the pregnant women carrying the innocent soul, the innocent soul without stains, the kind hearted soul, The God that created mankind and life, please come to my rescue, don't let me drawn, don't let me die, come to my aid, I've been hit by something unexpectedly, my life is crushing, please come to my rescue, save your son, save me..

Hey friend. From what you posted, I can tell that you aren't born-again. I used to be like you. I used to think everything was hopeless and there was no point in living.

In fact, I used to be suicidal. I wanted everything to end because life was tiring. Things weren't moving forward for me, family issues were weighing me down and I was exhausted.

Then one day, I imagined what hell would be like if I offed myself. I actually pictured it. And I was filled with terror. Then the Word came to me. The thought that Jesus died to save me and promised that life could be so much better entered my mind.

I cried and prayed to God to forgive me for my sins. And I stopped committing sin.

After that, my whole life changed. I wasn't self-conscious anymore, I wasn't ashamed or embarrassed about anything anymore. I was filled with hope and boldness. Life became beautiful dear friend.

I met incredible people. My life started to feel like it had been arranged for me. It seemed as if I was finally in the right place. I prayed for protection and provision and it happened and is still happening.

It may look like life is hopeless and full of disappointments, but I promise you, your life will change for the better if you invite Jesus into your life.

It's been testimony after testimony my dear. How long do you want to keep suffering? The choice is yours. All things are possible to them who believe, so says the Good Book.

The possibilities for your life are limitless. You can literally have anything and become anything you want. All you have to do is invite Jesus to take the wheel and guide you towards the right path.

Romance / How To Discover Your Divine Destiny by Ebonygeek(f): 12:52pm On Jun 15
As a person growing and living in the 21st century, making the right decisions and knowing the right path to follow at all times may not always be easy.

Most of the time, actions that are considered 'normal' may not often seem 'correct' when you view them from a different perspective. One of such actions is romance scam, popularly called 'yahoo yahoo' or 'keyboarding' in Nigeria.

The perpetrators usually create fake online profiles, locate foreign clients, befriend them, and find ways to convince them to transfer their savings to stipulated bank accounts.

Although the culprits often end up with large amounts of money to buy whatever they want, their victims are always left devastated and sometimes suicidal when they discover that they've been tricked. In addition, the culprits hardly ever amount to anything in life.

Many get trapped in an endless loop of duping people, spending all the money on frivolous things, and going back to square one, where they start searching for new people to trick. This is just one out of numerous 'normal' behaviours that don't seem correct when you analyze them from other viewpoints.

So, the million dollar question is, "How can an individual know what ‘correct’ behaviour is, as well as determine which path will lead to the best possible outcome for their life?"

In this article, we'll go over ways to know correct behaviour and steps any young person can follow to become their best self and achieve whatever purpose they were sent here to accomplish.

Right and Wrong: Knowing the Difference

An excellent way to know whether your actions are right or wrong is by examining their effects on other people. For instance, when speaking to someone, you can determine whether it's okay to use certain words with them by paying attention to their facial expressions or body language. If you notice that they react negatively when you use certain words, that's an indication that you aren't using ‘correct’ words.

You can apply the same technique to your other actions and behaviours. It's important to avoid deliberately hurting people as doing so can keep you from creating value and achieving anything meaningful in your lifetime.

Other ways to differentiate right and wrong behaviour is by examining the constitution or laws guiding your area of residence or by relying on holy books to guide your actions.

Finding Purpose

A wise man once said, “What our deepest self craves is not mere enjoyment, but some supreme purpose that will enlist all our powers and will give unity and direction to our life. We can never know the profoundest joy without a conviction that our life is significant-not a meaningless episode.”

If you want to add more meaning to your life or figure out a new direction to follow, consider following the steps below:

Rely on a Higher Power for Guidance

Though many people nowadays identify as atheists, agnostics, and so on, it is worthwhile to note that millions of people around the world have reported finding meaning and purpose in life, when they started relying on a higher power.

Whether or not you have a university degree or impressive skills, connecting to something greater than yourself can open your eyes to previously unseen pathways.

Moreso, throughout the Scriptures, God is portrayed as a guiding light who leads His people through life's challenges. So, whether it's huge life choices or daily decisions, seeking and recognising God's counsel can be crucial for a life connected with purpose.

Figure Out What Excites You

Everyone has something that makes them happy when they talk to others about it. To find yours, you can ask yourself questions such as, "What do I truly enjoy doing?" or "What are the things I like talking about, reading about, or posting about on my social networking sites?" These can be hints towards a route that will be satisfying and worthwhile for you.

Consider Your Educational and Training Background

Although your purpose might lead you towards a completely different path from anything you've done before, you may find that there is a way to blend your passion with abilities you've already acquired. Identify any specialized skills you've gained in your current job, certificates or degrees you've obtained, or any additional education that could be relevant as you decide which path to follow.

What Changes Would You Like to See Around You?

When you're browsing the news or scrolling through social media, focus on those issues that touch your heart. If anything makes you particularly dissatisfied or angry, you may find meaning in assisting others who are dealing with the same problem.

Think of Your Life as a Novel and Picture the Ending

Imagine that your life is a novel and you're the main character in it. Think about how you want your story to end. If you're unhappy with the outcome, think about which ending might make you more satisfied. This can be a huge determiner of your destiny.

Start to Set Small Goals

As you think about your best abilities and passions and start to see the kind of future you want, evaluate the steps you could take to get started. They don't have to be enormous, life-changing modifications, especially at the beginning. Start where you are today and build your way towards your desires from there.

Write Down Your Desires

Sometimes accomplishing your goals takes a while, and it can be difficult to remain motivated. But if you pen down the targets you want to achieve and place it where you'll see it frequently, it could assist in keeping you on track—particularly as you start making progress.

Don't Let People's Opinions Faze You

Whatever you choose to pursue, it should be your choice. If you're truly determined, don't allow anyone to convince you that you aren't talented or smart enough, or that the road ahead would be too difficult. Remember, it is merely their opinion. You're the only person who can determine your destiny.

Be Patient

Discovering your purpose in life can be a lifelong journey, so don't anticipate an answer right away, and don't stress about hurrying the process. Simply search for ways to make tiny improvements that can bring you nearer to feeling like you are accomplishing your life's purpose.

Be Consistent

If you are truly convinced that you have discovered the right path for you, it will be worthwhile to persevere regardless of the challenges that arise. If you've got a positive mindset, are patient, and committed to putting in the work, you will most likely achieve your goals in time.

Bottom Line

Finding a life purpose can be a bit challenging in this day and age because many people no longer distinguish between right and wrong behaviours when choosing a life or career path to follow. They simply copy the norms of those around them.

However, choosing which direction to follow doesn't have to be so difficult. By following the steps outlined above, you'll be sure to receive some clarity on the pathway to take.

Can a tooth with a large hole be cured without extraction?

Asking for my kid bro

He might have to remove it or do a root canal treatment. For a root canal, the tooth is usually leveled and an artificial metal crown is usually created and placed on top of it.

Make sure he sees an experienced dentist (preferably one at a teaching hospital) so that the problem won't be worsened.

On another note, time is running out, dear friend. God loves everyone and wants all of us to come to his kingdom. There's life after death. Unfortunately, Satan and his agents are doing everything in their power to distract humans and make them sin against God. There's a war going on that most people aren't aware of.

Matthew 24:14 KJV
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Evangelists and pastors all over the world are working hard every day to make the gospel reach everywhere. Time is running out!

Wake up!

It doesn't have to be scary though. It's something that every true believer is looking forward to. Please come to the light dear friend. Make your time on earth to be worth it. Don't suffer in Naija and suffer later again in hell.

You should change and repent because it is necessary to do so
The future of the earth depends on it
We would have kids come from us and what will they learn? This our lifestyle
Which one is Jesus is coming soon
You're creating fear and people would mock you
If he is coming or not nobody knows
But we need to change our way and become righteous because it is the right thing to do

Acts 17:30-31 KJV
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: [31] Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men , in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Jesus is alive. He walked this earth. He will return soon.

1 John 3:5-10 KJV
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother

Romance / Time Is Running Out by Ebonygeek(f): 10:26am On May 25
Every day, we wake up and create to-do lists for the day. We plan for travel, we prepare for job interviews. We prepare for events, meetings, celebrations and attach so much importance to these things. Why?

Because we want to be ready for these events.

Unfortunately, many of us forget that if we were to drop dead this very moment, all our secular activities would be meaningless.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there's a great day coming; a terrible day for sinners and a glorious day for the righteous. All sinners from every generation --from the beginning of time until now-- will face the Great White Throne Judgment.

Jesus is coming back to take all those who love Him to Heaven. And satan is doing his best to keep you in the dark about this great event, and to cheat you out of the hope that belongs to all who believe God's Word.

God loves you and wants you to know what he has planned for His People. Just before Jesus died on the cross for our sins, He told His followers: "In My Father's house are many mansions...I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14: 2-3.

God will not be satisfied until He has all those who believe in Him in His Kingdom.

2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

God is everywhere. He is the silent listener to every conversation, the silent recorder of all our actions. He will judge everyone with righteousness and pay us for our good and evil.

Everything we have ever done while in our mortal bodies will be judged-- our thoughts, words and actions.

Revelation 20:12-13 KJV
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The spirits of dead people will reunite with their bodies, and they will be judged according to everything they ever did while on earth.

So brothers and sisters, if you're in this vehicle right now and you haven't given your life to Christ, if you're still doing something that you know God will not be happy with, I encourage you to give your life to Christ immediately, because tomorrow might be too late.
