Did her killers not jubilate and even show off publicly about how they unalived her?
Did Aminu Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto who wants to be President of Nigeria prosecute the killers then?
When Boko Haram first started their chain of sporadic killings and attacks, were Christians and churches not their targets? During Goodluck Jonathan era, did they not hide their ammunitions in people’s houses and in mosques when the JTF were seriously hunting for these criminals? Northerners covered them because obviously, their attacks were targeted at the Northern Christians only. Do these Boko Haram not attack both Christians and Muslims now? During the clampdown of Boko Haram in the north during Jonathan’s time, did late Buhari and Nasir Elrufai not say an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North?
During Nasir Elrufai’s tenure as Governor of Kaduna state, did “Bandits” not attack only SOUTHERN KADUNA which is predominantly (if not entirely) Christian freely and continuously for 8 years?
In fact, a Christian local Community Head was abducted and eventually executed along other innocent people while Nasir Elrufai was preparing for his second tenure as Governor. It was just a coincidence that the late Kajuru Village Chief was said to be the most vocal among Southern Kaduna Christian Chiefs whose offices Elrufai annexed under Northern Kaduna Emirates at the time.
I can keep recounting and recounting the impunities and heinous crimes against humanity perpetrated in Northern Nigeria 🇳🇬 under the guise of religion both by Northern Political Elites, Oligarchs, Governments and even individuals but of course “Let’s not Open Old Wounds”.

Does this have anything to do with the current administration? Absolutely not! Does that change the fact that there’s severe hostility against Christians in the North of Nigeria? Absolutely not!

This is part of the impediments to Nigeria’s growth and prosperity as it stands today.
In one hand, The Nigerian constitution states that Nigeria is a secular state in Article 10 of the 1999 Constitution, which prohibits the government from adopting any religion as a state religion. Article 10: "The Government of the Federation or a State shall not adopt any religion as State Religion". Secular status: While the constitution doesn't use the word "secular," this article is the legal basis for Nigeria being officially a secular state with no official state religion.
However, in another hand : Section 275 of the 1999 Constitution gives state governments the power to establish Sharia Courts of Appeal. These courts primarily have jurisdiction over civil and personal status matters, such as marriage, divorce, and inheritance, for Muslims who choose to use them.
Yet! These states have extended Sharia into CRIMINAL LAW which has no basis in the Nigerian constitution. The claim that Sharia applies only to Muslims is in its entirety an absolute LIE and a FACADE as non-Muslims have in practice faced pressure and harassment from Sharia enforcement bodies like Hisbah in Kano and there have been documented instances of them being subjected to Sharia regulations.
This confusion and inability of Nigerians to have these discussions in a bid to avoid more religious clashes and persecution is one thing that requires proper deliberation in Nigeria 🇳🇬.
While many Nigerians believe that Nigeria is a secular country where people are free to practice whatever religion they choose to believe in as per the official constitution, other Nigerians and the outside world see Nigeria as an Islamic country. Of course, this can also be justified by Nigeria being an active member nation of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Countries).
