PS: PLEASE ITS NOT ADVISABLE TO FEED A BABY LESS THAN 1YEAR OLD HONEY. In doing that you are exposing the child to Botulism caused by Clostridium botulinum, a deadly bacteria which is sometimes present in honey. Doesn't affect adult but can kill a baby. Google botulism for more information.

When I say FORCEFULLY I didn't mean d way u took it(can a sleeping mother or a caregiver in school forcefully feed a child d way u took it)
What I meant was not given in to her refusal to eat.let me explain to u beta if u give her d 1st time she reject it let her b,when she crys for food again give her d same food she rejected b4 u do dat for 3time she will eventual take it, dat wat I meant Madam LITERATE.

PrettyCindy: Thanks joy. I have been doing the things you described in the first post. It just breaks my heart to hear him cry (but as soon as i dont put anything in his mouth again, he suddenly starts smiling and you will never believe it was the same baby that was screaming down the house seconds ago).
About the distraction, you are right on that one. Another thing that i “manage“ to use to distract my baby is music. He loves the sound of music so i just play him songs from my phone and immediately he starts to concentrate on that (even though he has no idea what he is hearing) while i try my best to feed him.

The only thing with my baby is that even if he willingly opens his mouth for food, trust him to use his little tongue to push almost everything out. I will use his spoon to scrape the food from his chin, feed him again and same thing happens. We continue with that process till the spoon becomes empty and by the time we are through with one spoon, its almost 15minutes so you can imagine how long it will take by the time he starts eating up to 5spoons. Well, GOD DEY.

This extactly d way my gal behaves if she does not want d food u can't force her to eat it....she pushes it out with her tounge but with time she started eating nw she even tyry using d spoon herself.
B4 I forgot,my pedrician adviced dat if u do 6month exclusive it not adviceable to bottlefeed instead u spoon feeding

PrettyCindy: It has been a thug of war getting my baby to eat now that am trying to introduce solids to him. He just won't eat anything apart from brea.st milk. I have tried pap, rice cereals, beans pudding, mashed potato with egg yoke, even expressed brea.st milk into the bottle for him, he refused to feed from the bottle and won't eat when spoonfed. He won't eat anything that is not coming from the brea.st. When i want to spoonfeed him, he will clasp his lips and gums shut.

I' m seriously worried because he may not be getting enough from brea.st milk.
Please how did you wean your baby? Was it difficult like this? What tricks did you use to get him/her to eat?

I 6mnth baby!!!!! He still need all they breast milk he can get,in my case I started by extracting milk into bottle then beg some1 else to feed her wit it,then I introduced soya meal(I.e combination of soya beans,crayfish,groundnut and millet) al thou she refused it at start but I was consistent wit it and I add plenty honey to make it sweet,gradually I introduced goldenmorn den I enrolled her in a creche were her caregiver forcefully feed her during d day but she refused to stop breast milk @ nite till she was 1yr and 2month,what I did when I wanted to wean her was that I made sure I make thick tea in a flask before going to bed cos she will always wake to suck,when she wakes I forcefully make her take d tea.thou it was not easy but after few days of d practice we stopped breast feeding ourself.so I introduce b complex and mutivitamins that will boost her appetite she has no choice but to eat.

I suggest you stop talking to this ur husband cos calling him is not doing anything for you, when he calls answer him after all he is still ur husband but stop calling and crying cos it is obviously not touching him. Is there nobody who can talk sense into him - honestly I don't know why these men place curses on their own irresponsible heads - and then tomorrow wonder why bad things keep happening to them - KMT.

My baby is a year and some month old,from conception till date have been taking care of her wit God by my side and having a bf is d last thing on my mind,cos I have to feed my child cloth her and even pay her school fees.

Pls if God lay it in you heart to help the child go ahead and do it,don't ever think of the father come back to claim him,let him do so if he so wishes latter in future but you play your part.
No one is saying you should stress yourself to pay his fee,if it part of it you can afford do it. pls I beg in God's name. d fact that she came out plain to tell you the truth from the onset it enough to melt your heart towards her.

Thank you all for your comment so far,thank you for making me see that I lack self esteem;Have come to the conclusion (from all comment. Esp dt of @dk)that it a man's world so it ok for this guy to neglect his responsibility because I refuse to marry him.
all because I made they greatest mistake of my life dating a married man which I didn't even realized until it was too too late,when I realized and decide to quit(thou I still went ahead and continue d relationship at a point thinking I still have time to quit)it was too late cos I was pregnant,I want you all to realize am not the worst person on earth most of you passing comment have done worst things than this.(Am not justifying my actions)
Maybe I should have married him and save myself and child all the stress and neglect.

I referred to ds guy as my HUBBY because b4 I discovered he was married I see him as my husband not some one else husband not until I discover he was married.
The greatest mistake ve made so far was not cutting off the relationship when I discovered he was married,I took the wrong advice.
I appreciate all the insult and I regret my actions I accept the fact that am the most shameless lady and I totally lack self respect,if I wanted to complicate the issue on ground or if I was not sober I would ve agreed to be his wife but I didn't want to break his home.
So for the sake of my innocent child will someone at least come out an giv advice on what legal action I can take,
(Have already start looking for job)

Thanks to every body who had commented on ds issue 1 way or the other.
Let me make some thing clear here am not looking for sympathesires or pity I enjoy those that came out straight to tell me what I did was wrong.
Ok. To the issue of his wife I found out late and it was not my fault that the woman preffer to biz to her hubby(not looking for excuse here)
To those of you who claim to no fst and okoko well,u will no that at a point on that road the traffic was that bad that they even rob in the traffic.coming in the morning is hell and going home in d even is worse so I don't blame the wife for believing him but I blame her for not checking on him,maybe if she had done dat all ds won't ve happen.
Ok to the case of you saying I found out about madam and she didn't find out about me did u stop to ask how I found out.a frnd of my dos gen so I intro him to my hubby when is company lister got spoilt he was satisfied with his job so I think madam's shop gen got spoit so oga contacted the guy to repair the gen tell him not to tell me abt it but my frnd see how loyal I was to him had no choice but to tell me.
On the issue of me leaving my place of deploymnt to his village with my parent knowing myb dear it possible I was posted to abuja will my parent coming looking for me am I a baby and I communicate with them on phone so they ve no reason to suspect any fowl play my for those of u dat ve served b4 u no there is nothing impossible so as long as am ready to share my allawee no prblm my clearance goes on.
What other question do any body want to ask.yes I need the comment the good,d bad and the ugly.cos before I can come out to post my dirty linean outside it has gotten beyond me,am running in sane.so I need d comment.

good morning to you all i actual started this trend in-other to get diverse advice on what to actual do..............
and i want young girls out there to learn from my own story,

i met a guy after some time we became close friends after been friends for almost a year we became lovers i spent must of my time in his place cos he has an apartment in festac.most of his business are overseen by me whenever he is not in town.
To my surprise he is married with 3kids and his family stays in ojo,from my investigation i got to find out that the excuse he always give his wife is that the traffic on the road does not allow in come home regularly and i did not know he goes home on weekends cos am not always around on weekends i go visit my family.when i live on friday,he also lives and before i get back on monday he is back.
To cut the long story short i was advised by some of my friends not to quite the relationship that i should enjoy it will it last since i will soon be graduating from school.but we started having issues constantly because i look for every opportunity to start away from him i now stay more in my hostel then in his apartment,i started cheating on him must time he finds out after much argument we settle again.
i found out that have come to love him so i was looking forward to my service which will enable me to stay away from him and
maybe latter forget about him and to enable me get into another relationship.After collecting my call up letter i was posted to abuja so i went headed to inform him that it over between us,all his effort to make me see reason while i should be his wife was falling on deaf ears.i went head and pack my things out of his apartment and moved down to camp.
only for me to discover that i was pregnant in camp for him,after informing him he asked me to go for an abortion since i said it over between us that he has move ahead even he gave his new girlfriend my number to call for me to no that he has moved ahead.all effort to terminate the pregnancy was invain so i decied to keep the baby after much fruitless effort to terminate.
we were able to talk things over and he told me that he wish i can abort it cos he did want me to feel tied to him so i can be free from him but since i cant abort we keep it.i begged him that i dont want my family to no am pregant so i will go to his village put to bed there then come back home to my family that i will cook up a story on how i came across a baby we both agreed on a plan.
only for him to say he cant go on with the plan when i was 7month gone,he insisted on informing my family which he went head and do,to his great surprise my family insisted that i cant marry a married man.

The problem now is he left the upkeep of the child to me alone insisting that if i want him to take responsibility i should move in with him,i know it is a way to get back at me ....................................
WHAT DO I DO......................cos am jobless and it not easy taking care of my girl alone, my family that insisted that i cant marry him, they are not helping with the child's upkeep,
