While growing up and schooling in Unical, I and friends will always tell ourselves that we will surely build and live there.....but life isn't the way one sees it growing up.
A lot will always change. Some of those friends are dead, some poor, many without job. how long now |

NtoAkwaIbom: as how,Una no d move at all, come into, come mbo LGA, we get oil and we get an for our own ground, no be only offshore Very insignificant. Majority of the oil that gives Akwa Ibom huge allocations are very very far away and into the farthest ocean. Just that nobody to claim it. It should have been going to federal government purse directly sef cos akwa ibom people never sojourned that far into the ocean to claim it. |
Politics › Re: Cross River Listed As Oil-Producing As FG's Inter-Agency Committe Submits Report by Ebubu6: 8:33am On Feb 16 |
AlphaTaikun: Bakassi was NEVER part of Cross River State or Nigeria. In the Anglo-German treaty that was signed during the colonial times, Bakassi was clearly shown on the maps to be within German Cameroon.
Even the Geography Atlas and history books we used decades back (1960s-1980s) show CLEARLY that Bakassi Peninsula is right in Cameroon. Definitely folks of Efik origins are or were indigenous to Bakassi but NOT as Nigerians BUT Cameroonians. So, it's impossible for Nigeria to cede to Cameroon what it NEVER had under international law. Period. Efik and Ibibio ( Cross River and akwa ibom ) are Bakassi people na. They just migrated from cameroon when land was no longer enough for their population and they wandered into un-inhabited Nigeria that is today, Cross River and Akwa Ibom. They still understand Southern Cameroon dialects and practice their culture till date. They're just like Adamawa people who are Northern Cameroonians. |

Politics › Re: Senator Nwaebonyi, Committee Chair Clash As Umahi Defends Budget (Video) by Ebubu6: 6:30pm On Feb 12 |
AMINDA: Umahi clearly pre-planned with the Senator from Ebonyi state. Hear him requesting for an executive session because he has a lot to hide. This is what they intended to cover with an all APC senate. Senator from Ebonyi state proudly named Nwaebonyi meaning child of Ebonyi, clearing the way for his political godfather, Dave Umahi to have a clear pass at the Senate, and it worked! Dave is teaching all of you a lesson in politics. Aside Hope Uzodimma, I don't know a politically dexterous man as Dave in South East politics. |
Politics › Re: Senator Nwaebonyi, Committee Chair Clash As Umahi Defends Budget (Video) by Ebubu6: 6:27pm On Feb 12 |
Dalohad: Victim mentality..
How is Ezekwesili an Ebonyi hater? She was defending Natasha as a fellow woman when Akpabio and Nwebonyi were trying to bully her..
You can buy him form to contest Senator or Governorship. It will not guarantee his success at the poll.
His exuberance shows that he is a newbie to the Senate. He will learn in the fullness of time. He will learn nothing ! Senate President Akpabio is his boss. And Akpabio is Tinubu's boy. There's nothing Nwaebonyi will learn. He is well aligned. Who will teach him the something ? Ezekwesili who doesn't have any power or office ? Abeg go and sit on a woven mat. It is the losers who are fighting him. There's a reason after his spat where he insulted the hell out of Natasha, nothing has happened to him till date. Likewise after he dealt heavily with the man-looking Ezekwesili who can pass off as an old man. |
Politics › Re: Senator Nwaebonyi, Committee Chair Clash As Umahi Defends Budget (Video) by Ebubu6: 7:34am On Feb 12 |
Dalohad: How did Nwebonyi become a Senator, the guy is a wild animal..
He must have been a cultist when he was in school.
I remember him fighting Oby Ezekwesili. The guy appears empty but louder than everyone.
The guy suffers low self esteem and is always shouting 'I am a Senator! I am Senator' at every given opportunity.. Oga na only you be Senator?
As a local land grabber and small time cultist in Ebonyi, I bet he could not believe his luck that he could in his wildest dreams ever become a Senator, when Umahi and APC rigged him in during the last election.
Ebonyi people, please be sensible enough to ensure that Nwebonyi is weeded out of the Senate and sent to his knackers in 2027.
Let him go home and continue his land grabbing and local cultism.. Nwebonyi is in my senatorial zone and we will buy his senatorial form. He must return to the national assembly whether he likes it or not. We need brave men who will defend the interests of Ebonyi State in senate floor. Dave is Nwaebonyi's boss and it is ordinary for Nwaebonyi to defend Dave. That is how we planned it and that is how it is playing out. Ezekwesili as an Anambra woman, is an Ebonyi hater. |

Education › Re: Should I Travel To UK For Msc Or Start A Business In Nigeria? by Ebubu6: 6:50am On Feb 09 |
Naya261: I am planning of travelling to the UK for my Msc programme. My main purpose of travelling is as a means of jakpa not that I really need the Msc. I sold the land i bought in Asaba in 2018 for N22m. I plan to use the money for the tuition fee deposit ( £5,000) and other travel expenses. The complete tuition fee is £15,330. I will study and work in other to pay the remaining balance.
My plan is to remain in the UK and work after my study. Please I need your advice. the problem with that 22million naira is that if you're not well-trained in business, since you are Igbo, if you didn't do "igba boy", learn under a successful business master, for some years, then its a huge risk because the business may fail. If you don't have a successful coach in the line of business you're choosing who has accepted to mentor you the business may fail because as you are learning the ropes and making mistakes, you may be losing money and by the time you've fully learnt the ropes, the money may be depleted to a level you need to borrow or sell land again to restock enough and make impact. Moreso because Nigerians are poorer now and due to inflation, can not afford most things they use to afford before. Very high inflation so many people can't afford things so make very good inquiry on what is selling under this inflation economy before you key into it. Otherwise if you're afraid of all these risks and didn't grow up in a business background, my brother carry the money and japa. If you exhaust it in UK, if you are hardworking you can gain back the money by buying another land in another remote area, or investing in other things that will increase your savings earned from UK hustle, at least you'll be in environment where if you blow the money, you have hope of remaking it in no distant time. Annoying thing with Nigeria is if you blow any huge money, e fit take you 10 years or more to remake it back legitimately unless you're into fraud or politics or hard drug sales. So in otherwords it is very risky to lose in business in Nigeria because there is no support or another means of making it back. Still, some people still succeed in business while some others lose. The economy is just so messed up but some people still make it in the economy, while others don't. Its your choice to make. If you're willing to go to UK, be ready to work and work very very hard . And if you're ready to stay in Naija, be ready to endure if the money goes down cause another opportunity go hard. |

I'm from Ebonyi State and you're lying. That road is being done by federal ministry of works under Minister of works Dave Umahi and Tinubu |

tuoyoojo: Anyone who has traveled on the concrete road built so far by this administration can testify that their concrete road is extremely bumpy to drive on.
The one at zuba, the one at that obajana and from the video you can see how the roads are. Your tyres and shocks would take a beating
Don't take my word for it, you can watch the video that the apc data boys uploaded and see the "smooth concrete road"
Driving should be pleasant and pleasurable.
Those data boys would see this genuine concern as an attack on their pay master
Something needs to be done to make these highway smooth you want to be overspending ba ? Maybe this one will reduce accidents due to overspeeding |
