The official lodge of the Executive President of Post Graduate Students Government, PGSG of the University of Calabar, Calabar has been barricaded.

The presidential lodge domiciled in Ali Mungono Hotel in the main camp section of UNICAL was barricaded Tuesday at 10PM by aggrieved students sequel to his official suspension by the Senate of PGSG and impeachment of the Senate President, Utsu Emmanuel A.

According to a petition recently received by the Office of the Senate President of PGSG, and sighted by our correspondent, the agitations of students revolve around 8 counts:
'1. Akpo Pius Undie, invaded the school on 23rd day of July, 2019 with cultist to beat up students during plenary.
2. Akpo Pius Undie, increase dues up to five thousand naira without the knowledge of the Dean and congress men & women.
3. Akpo Pius Undie, introduced extra one thousand five hundred naira for ID card without issuance after payment.
4. Akpo Pius Undie, station, illegal dues collection/payment center in Bursary and Post Graduate Admin. Units.
5. Akpo Pius Undie, station illegal dues collect in some departments.
6. Akpo Pius Undie, inflicts and increase dues without senate or executive council approval.
7. Akpo Pius Undie, connives with bad element 'staffs' of the University to collect students money illegally.
8. Akpo Pius Undie, is also fun of bringing female students from his department to make love with in PG hostel.'



These 8 counts are allegations against the embattled President. The president is currently under investigation by an adhoc committee of the Senate of PGSG and so stands suspended.

Nigeria now has been reduced to the theatre of the absurd...that's what you get when nonentities occupy leadership positions.

I just want to help Nigeria shame; so, Who will borrow me his/her shame please?
