Normality: [s]Why are some people bad mouthing this effort, IPOB that I know cater for families and sends kids of their members to school, if the family can't afford it.
There was plan to share all school teachers in Anambra and beyond free laptops, before it was put on hold during Director's Asia tour.
10% of what IPOB does is not broadcasted outside.
They also take care of their dead members' families every single month. Leave IPOB and face your problems [/s] Macaulay, when will you have sense? Ipob youth |

TonyeBarcanista: The Ijaws and Niger Deltans aren't driven by emotions. We know the importance of securing our interests before making any move. Hence, the IPOB plans fell fell on SS soil. Actually, nobody really give a hoot except maybe Asari that need gullible followings (just like what FFK is doing.- pure business).
Anyway, I'm optimistic that Tompolo will respond to court summon. I have realized that recently. Ijaws are pragmatic and smart. I am actually hoping that he will take the honorable path of returning some of the loot and make a plea bargain |
Politics › Re: Goodluck Jonathan Honoured in Atlanta by the SCLC by Ebukaobi: 11:39pm On Jan 14, 2016 |
Jonathan can continue to deceive himself. That is his problem
Travelling to the USA and taking pictures with irrelevant people will not stop Nigerians from asking him the key questions
Nigerians are not fools!
There are many Nigerians that live in the US and they know he is gallivanting and using the opportunity to deflect from his responsibilities.
You cannot steal so much money and cover it up with a PR campaign
When he is done, he will come and account for his theft in Nigeria |

Politics › Re: They Want To Frame Me For Bombing Oil Facilities’, Tompolo Cries Out by Ebukaobi: 11:33pm On Jan 14, 2016 |
TonyeBarcanista: If you even read the full statement, Tompolo pledge support for the government in power, and called on Sylva and supporters of APC in Bayelsa to concede defeat and join hands with Dickson to move Bayelsa forward. He maintained that they are all Ijaws.
That is the average thinking of an Ijaw and Niger Deltan. We see election as a contest and not a war. We want development and not a theatre to brew hate. I recall during the Bayelsa election when some outsiders were abusing some Bayelsans that were supporting Sylva of APC, I rebuked them by saying that both men are Ijaws from Bayelsa and they need support of whoever gives them though I was backing Dickson.
I am happy that Tompolo has shown maturity though he has a case that he must answer sha. I have always deciphered Ijaw pragmatism They are not excessively emotional like IPOB people Very discerning people. Nigeria would have been in flames if Ijaws wrongfully aligned themselves with the evil plans of IPOB youths. But they showed foresight and restraint The emboldened part of your post is priceless. Only if IPOB youths can learn from Ijaws |
Politics › Re: Fayemi To Update Website With N795 Million by Ebukaobi: 11:24pm On Jan 14, 2016 |
StOla: But Patrick Akpobolokemi was one of such changes.
Instead, he turned out to be one of the millionaires and billionaires that Jonathan rightly said he helped produce.
One thing Buhari need to do us to reform the political party and campaign funding laws. Many people are given ministry and parastatal appointments just to steal money for the party. There has to be strict laws being enforced on how parties raise funds for their campaign.
PDP lost the presidency and by extension the federal government, suddenly the party has no more money to complete the building if its national secretariat. Actually, what I meant is that Jonathan made a lot of changes after losing the elections. A lot of new DGs were suddenly appointed in several Ministries and Parastatals The purpose was to put certain elements in place to create commotion for the incoming administration. I have to be honest, this government has exhibited some naivety |

StOla: I think the career civil servants in the presidency and budget office need to be changed.
We have had a change of government in the past, now we also have a change of ruling party. Still some things seem to never change - the capacity to waste resources.
I believe certain civil servants contribute to the looting that political offices commit. Jonathan was not stupid when he made blanket changes in the key personnel of parastatals and ministries There has to be a total overhaul |

LadyExcellency: Address me properly Mr man and stop the bros of a thing. This is not about IPOB and I don't see how you compare to our youths whether in Aba, Onisha, Ladipo or Oshodi. So give the unnecessary diversion a break.
You should use your dictionary to recheck the meaning of the word "class". Barcanista is just another antonym to class
You should first deal with your questionable character and corrupt mindset ready to be offered to the highest bidder. Who knows how much APC is putting forward at your table?
Continue deceiving gullible Nairalanders with deceptive objectivity and trying all to please the ruling APC supporters without them knowing that you are discharging a service paid for by either Aisha or Lai Mohammed. PDP - a bunch of dullards with no moral compass
All these because of the fight against corruption
First of all, impeaching Buhari is next to impossible
Secondly, the PDP is underestimating the resolve of Nigerians on their support for this government
Thirdly, why is that the majority of opponents towards the anti-corruption policy of Buhari come from one section of Nigeria?

talktimi: What happened at the villa today By Royal Rebel @Kiingfahd
- I was at the Villa today with the Chibok parents and all I can say is fear twitter and twitter analysis
- Although I am not the type to be involved in heated debates or trending topic I think it's only right I give my account as to what happened
- I am not a good story teller so I can't write about everything that happened, I'd like to talk on two misconceptions making their rounds
- That the President 'Stormed out' and that He did not make any connection to the parents
- Before I proceed I'd like to state that I am a true BBOG member and cannot be driven by any sort of sentiment against the moment
- As it regards Storming out, I think it's misleading to use such a term considering it's is protocol that the president leaves before anyone
- I will briefly state how the meeting with PMB went and allow you be the judge
1. Garba Shehu's address 2. Madam Oby 3. Chibok Chairman
- 4. Chibok parent male 5. Chibok parent female 6. Chibok Pastor 7. PMB in English 8. PMB in Hausa 9. PMB raise and leave
- I understanding hausa (unlike many twitter people there) and PMB's hausa speech was for the parents and I WON'T SAY it was insensitive
- It ended with PMB reassuring them of his commitment and saying 'Allah ya ba karuri' X3 loosely translated 'May God pacify you'
- I saw someone say he didn't wait to take pictures with the parents, after 21months of abduction let's ask ourselves if that's what they want
- Nigerians we say we don't want Politicians lying to us, but truth is we do, we love being lied to we love the political bamboozle
- As for Maman Taraba I think she was callous and was terrible, even a 50 YO bachelor would have related to the plight of the mothers better Interesting So the Vanguard purposely manipulated the actual events to suit their own agenda This is disgraceful behavior from this PDP apologists |

Good one Mr President
This is the kind of President we voted for
He told the parents the undiluted truth instead of beating around the bush
The armed forces are still searching for the girls and clearing up the mess left by the last administration. In due time, things will become clearer.
We voted for a man that will rid the political system of acute corruption and not a magician |
