China is expanding its investment portfolio in Africa and will not want the largest economy in Africa to break up. They are signing deals worth billions of dollars with the Nigerian government and businesses. They will not forego that because of IPOB stupidity.

Russia has its plate full in Syria. Putin is under pressure internationally and domestically. The pull factors (Oil resources) are no longer attractive. So no joy there.

1960 is not 2016. A lot have changed! If igbos with a ragtag Army can sustain the civil war for three years in the 60s imagine what it'll be like in this generation.

There are large concentration of igbos around the world who could bring in war equipment with their funds, the large population of igbos in Lagos with their wealth can decimate yoruba land in a matter of months and the population of igbos living in the North are younger generation that can hold up their own when an all out war breaks out.
