Recommended ATF is Hyundai/Kia SP-III.
For a completely drained transmission, you'll need about 8quarts.

Have been using the car for 7years now....The gear that came with the car had reverse issues so I change it completely like 4yrs back. I have not changed the ATF in 2years now....could it be that the ATF need to be changed

Gear slip means the gear goes into neutral before engaging to next gear.
Before carrying out any major repairs, try changing the fluid first. If this doesn't help, then you have a faulty transmission.
What fluid did you put in it when you changed it 4yrs back?

You gear is slipping. How long have you been using the car and when did you last service your transmission?

The recommended oil for your engine is SAE 5w30
While your transmission needs the Toyota Type T-IV.

He is actually right. Actual capacity is 6.7quarts or about 6.4litres.

Yes it is but strongly advise you use the Toyota oil instead in your Toyota/Lexus tranny.

The SP-IV falls into synthetic category of ATF. This is an upgrade from the SP-III.
Ford Mercon LV also falls into this category incase the SP-IV is not obtainable.

Good oil brands I'll recommend are the American Mobil1 and Castrol. Note that this is not available in their stations.

Recommended atf for your car is Toyota Type III but has been replaced with Toyota Type-IV.

As for engine oil, recommended is SAE 5w30. However, make sure there are no oil leaks.

As for your engine oil, we have the American Castrol GTX which comes in 5quarts and 1quart gallon.
If your engine is a 4.5L 6cyl engine, Engine oil capacity is 7.8quarts or 7.4litres.
