Those factors shouldn't be the criteria for denying Nigerians Visa. Meanwhile, most of the indians don't return as well. With ambiguous reasons, AHO3849 will gladly refuse Nigerians Learner247: Approval rate for applicants from Nigeria is below 12%. Applicants from countries with challenging economic, security and political situation have very slim chances of getting accepted. They are more likely to stay back after their studies. I mean, how many Nigerians have returned after their UG or PG education in Canada? |

You maybe correct sir Scott99tish: Exactly my view.
I think that ID (AH03849) is not singular key but a body/branch that deals mainly on any concerns with SOA.
They are like department that scrutinize financial complain on SOA.
I’ve been thinking this for a while but I kept mute because people kept referring the ID to VO. |

I understand sir makano: Hello Eclint
Understand that a Principal Visa officer can be likened to a senior officer, which means there are Junior officers under him/her or reports to the principal officer..
Hope you understand now..

Can one principal VO handle all the applications from naija? I doubt he/she is the only one. makano: Hello Ketima
Thanks for your prompt response, but I never said the VO hates Nigerians though..
Just wanna know more about the operation of the VO as regards Final Decision and if he/she is the principal VO for Nigerian applications..

May you be favoured for sharing All the best Frankalvinz: Landing gist
Day of Travel - 30th Sept Arrival Day - 1st Sept Flight name - Royal Dutch Airlines (Lufthanza) Stops - Lagos -> Amsterdam -> Ontario
I arrived at the Lagos airport at 5pm against my flight of 10:45pm, none of my bags were checked because my cousin knew some of the airport officials (note that i was carrying a lot of food stuffs), i weighed my 2 luggages which were approved. I was asked for all my travel Documents, School Documents, ArriveCAN receipt and COVID19 test result. I also had to fill one yellow card stuff with my details and submit to them. After all this brouhaha, I proceeded to my Flight gate, where i waited till my flight time.
The flight from Lagos to Amsterdam was approximately 12hrs or so (can't remember), we landed in Amsterdam where i proceeded to my next gate after series of checks from airport officials. Omoh, the Wi-Fi at this airport fast die, its free and you have Unlimited usuage.
We left for Canada after 3 hrs, omoh all their food tire me. I arrived at Canada around 12pm Canadian Time (5 hour behind Nigeria), did some checks after which we proceeded to immigration officers for our official study permits. After which we went to get our luggages (these guys manhandled alot of luggages, i could not even recognize one of my luggages after passing by it 15 times). (This part is for unvaccinated travelers) We proceeded for the Covid19 tests (register at Switchhealth.ca to avoid the long queue). After this, you would be handed the Day 8 home test kit. Then you're free to go to your choice of quarantine.
You can change dollars to CAD at the airport when you land, just don't change everything on you cos their rates are high compared to banks.
Note; 1) Please if you can get your Covid19 shots in Nigeria before coming over, DO IT! To avoid stress. 2) Register for your SIN immediately you get your study Permit, because you will need this number if you want to work.
Throw me with your Questions, if it's something i can handle, I'd let you know. Good luck on your PPR journey! |

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!! I latch and connect to this speed Leyemoshood: Reference Letter from my NYSC PPA boss All Employment letters and promotion letters Car ownership doc Tenancy agreement letter
Wife's document:
Dubai Visa Page IELTS certificate Her CAC documents Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) I omitted submitting either her IELTS or PCC, it was after i submitted i remembered i didnt upload 1 of them.
Proof of marriage: Marriage certificate Family pictures Wedding pictures Wedding Anniversary pictures Baby's 1 year birthday pictures Family Vacation pictures in Dubai
Daughter's Documents
International Passport Birth Certificate
Proof of funds
My business account with 30K CAD (MBS) Salary Account (Can't remember how much i had as of the time i submitted again - MBS) Piggy Vest Statement of Account: 1.650M Naira
Let me run a quick background here, i didnt even know we'll be applying to relocate to Canada till Monday June 7 this year, we have always wanted to move to Canada but the plan has been via Express Entry. Due to age constraint, we decided we should go via school and then we had the UK option too but the plan was to leave Nigeria by December 2022 at worst case scenario. Left for me, the process would probably start around June next year lol but my wife was much into the relocation plan. The funny thing is that i am "agent" and i worked with one of the leading agencies in Nigeria even heading Abuja's branch, students are always asking, bro when you go comot Naija, you wey dey help us, you no wan comot abi..or students asking have you been to all these countries before? lol me wey be say na only Dubai i don go, for some i say yes i don go (i lied), some i tell them the truth that i'm not ready yet.
Fast forward, i applied to school and admission came 2 days after. Deposit was made and we went for upfront medicals, did IELTS and Police Character. We gathered documents and finally submitted August 30, it is pertinent to state that this application was God's grace. I told my wife we should fast and pray every Tuesday till we get approval and our prayers points were specific:
1. God should perfect all the imperfections of the our application in the eyes of the Visa Officers 2. God should not allow our application be delayed for too long. 3. God should have mercy and compassion on our application. 4. I had a dream the 2nd week after i submitted the application that i was approved, so i started praying that God should make the dream a reality and let us get approval as a family.
My church has been about having testimonies in the month of October but 2 things happened that stood out for me. 1st, when i saw Jay316 approval last week Friday Oct 15, i noticed on his timeline that he submitted a week before us, immediately, i keyed into his testimony and approval that God should please let us have our PPR this week. In church this Sunday, Oct 17 we sang raise me up and tapped into Jehovah God raising my family to Canada. Pastor also said someone in the service would testify next week, I also tapped into it as I expect our Canada visa approval this new week in Jesus name. Then this morning around 7:30, NSSPD Pastor Jerry said someone will get the email they have been expecting in 1 hour time and good news before 6pm. Lo and behold, i got 2 emails from IRCC at exactly 8:10am, without checking who sent the mail, i started saying this is IRCC, this is IRCC and when i opend my mail it was IRCC oo, thats how i started dancing and praising God before opening my portal declaring that yes the word of God have to come pass that its going to be approval and when i logged in, i went straight to the bottom and i saw the golden messages CORRESPONDENCE LETTER & ORIGINAL PASSPORT REQUEST, while checking my own, the mail for my daughter came in and 2-3 minutes later, the mail for my wife dropped too. Na baba God do am ooooo, people help me should 3 powerful Hallelujah.
As someone who has been in the study abroad industry for a while, i can boldly say that i got lotta information from this travel thread, thanks to all the gurus that share important information. I didnt do anything anything special but God is his infinite mercy gave us the approval, he made an ordinary application extra ordinary. The only thing i would say to prospective applicants is to take their time to study the thread well and be detailed in their SOP/LOE.
Who did it guys? JESUS...Oh My God...Woowwwwwwwwwwwww What God cannot do does not exist!!! |

tobi12345: Good morning, I have come back here to share my testimony. I have been a silent reader and follower on this platform. God did this for me and this my second application , I did my medicals upfront after I submitted my application. I wrote my Sop myself because I couldn’t pay the outrageous fees some guys asked . Only God can do this . Yours is coming in Jesus name . My heart is so filled with joy and I can’t type much . I want to encourage someone this morning that, don’t give up and you can do it yourself if you believe in God . He is a God who can not lie . congratulations sir. Still waiting for your timeline. |
