jane0000:Abi o! Amaechi was almost rubished even as a gov'nor. Sometimes justice is not complete without retribution. It's payback time. |
Lalasticlala, Amaechi don open Wike case file. interesting days ahead ![]() |
jane0000:Seriously, he will be humbled from now on ![]() Amaechi must be empowered to take his revenge. |
See baba swag with the lion of Ubima! ![]() Amaechi helped evict GEJ from the villa. His loyalty has started bearing fruit. Photo credit: SaharaReporters

I just hope this is true. That Wike needs to have his fingers burnt. |
Specialist900:It becomes a dilema as the months keep increasing and the arreers keep accumulating. Will you leave and forfeit all the lost months, or stay with the hope getting paid at any moment? |
INTROVERT:Very true. Last time i bought one was in 2009 (if i can remember). |
IF Buhari so much believe in party supremacy, WHAT HAS HE DONE TO ENFORCE IT?My question exactly ![]() |
TANoids regurgitating their old lies |
CFCfan:That's worth celebrating for OAU and its alumni. |
GEJ looked confused liked one in an unfamilier environment. He doesnt seem to know where to start from. He just went there for the photo shot. Buhari seems composed and busy at work. |
Nonsese! EFCC is on its way to lead you out of Senate to Uyo prison. |
berrystunn:I never liked Buhari but Goodluck Jonathan didn't make himself a better option. It's unfortunate. |
Who do we blame? They are promoting their murderous god and feeding their blood thirsty religion. Hold on a moment, and imagine a world without islam. What do you see? Love, peace, forgiveness and prosperity. JESUS IS LORD! |
The assets were fraudulently acquired. Good start in the anti-corruption campaign. This is the kind of justice required for mindless looters. Run them aground and send them begging for food. |
Disgusting! Not ideal for any occasion. |
Long overdue |
Kalvan:This tribalist don return. U no dey repent? |
engrjacuzzi:Gone are the days. But Buhari needs to replace those service chiefs. |
Marylin Ogar is better sacked and prosecuted for her partisanship and unprofessional conducts. |
Another disaster averted. |
I'm begining to dislike Buhari lately because of his apparent betrayal of Tinubu. A man who worked so hard to get him to defeat the Pdp needs all due respects. Buhari should know that lots of Nigerians do not like him if not for his connection to Tinubu who helped repackaged and presented him to the people. |
enoqueen:Thats exactly what happened. Someone had acted smart among them. The rest should stop all the ignorance and blaming of d dead. How could they be so sure their late brother did not have ATM card while alive, with the ongoing cashless policies and online payments? |
Emefiele is obviously not impressive in his performance but Buhari should first fill up other vacant posts before he ever thinks of firing a CBN governor. |
D tin taya me self. The president just dey loaad everywhere with abokis |
Does the VP also reject the DSS operatives? He should be able to make his choice. |
253 DSS operatives sent back to state commands The authorities of the Department of State Services have sent back to state commands, the 253 operatives that were earlier deployed in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. It was learnt that the personnel were asked to go back to their respective commands on Wednesday, pending when the service would get further directives from The Presidency on their deployment. The Punch had earlier reported that the 253 personnel were rejected by the Presidential Villa authorities allegedly on the order of the Aide-De-Camp to President Muhammadu Buhari. According to their redeployment signal issued by the service’s National Headquarters, some of the personnel were to report to the Vice President’s office, some were attached to the President’s wife, while some others were attached to the Vice President’s wife among other beats in the Villa. But on reporting at the Villa, the operatives were not allowed in by the ADC who reportedly said they were not needed. Following their rejection by the Villa authorities, the operatives were said to have been taken to the agency’s training school, Institute for Security Studies, Bwari, where they underwent an induction process for some days. After the induction, the DSS authorities were said to have directed the officers to return to their former posting and await further directives. “We have been asked to return to our respective state commands and to await further directives or orders from the national headquarters,” one of the operatives explained. The DSS spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar, could not be reached for comment as calls to her phone failed to connect. http://www.punchng.com/news/253-dss-operatives-sent-back-to-state-commands/ |

HungerBAD:Honestly, but some innocent individuals who are wrongly accused may lose their life through that. You know how the Nigerian criminal justice system operates. Death sentence is not an answer. What is needed is the improvement in the security situation and proper training of security personnels. |
Gunmen dressed in army uniform have abducted Mrs. Martha Binabo, wife of the former acting governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Nestor Binabo. Martha was kidnapped at her warehouse located between Azikoro Village and Agbura on Monday. Binabo, a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, was sworn in as the acting governor in 2011 following a court judgment that sacked the administration of Chief Timipre Sylva. The gunmen numbering about five were said to have stormed the warehouse of Mrs. Binabo at about 11.30am. The victim, who is a major distributor of Guinness products, was reportedly seized by the gunmen and driven away to an unknown place in a Toyota vehicle. A source, who pleaded anonymity, said the hoodlums arrived at the warehouse when their target was having her hair plaited. He said, “Two of the gunmen alighted from the vehicle and accosted the woman. They told her that they were sent by the Commander, Joint Task Force, Operation Pulo Shield, to bring her to JTF headquarters. “The workers of the woman did not raise any alarm as the bandits forced the woman into their vehicle and zoomed off. They fired no bullet before taking her away.” There were insinuations within the camp of Binabo that the abduction was politically motivated. Binabo is a leading member of a group of Peoples Democratic Party pushing to deny the state Governor, Mr. Seriake Dickson, a second term in 2016. His camp believes that the kidnap was carried out to send jitters to Binabo who is said to be an obstacle to the governor in the Bayelsa West Senatorial District. A source from the camp, who spoke in confidence, noted, “Ahead of the election, there is a group of gunmen dressed in army uniform parading the state and kidnapping people. We don’t know who is behind the gang. “We are aware that they have been trailing prominent members of this camp and we are appealing to the police and other security agencies to live up to their responsibilities.” The Azikoro, Bayelsa State, residence of Binabos, has now been very busy as politicians visit to sympathise with the family. Binabo, who confirmed the incident, appealed to the abductors to release his wife. Also confirming the abduction, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Asinim Butswat, said the gunmen wore military camouflage. Butswat said Mrs. Binabo, 48, was abducted on her business premises, Seleyibo Multi-Global Company Limited. He identified the assailants’ vehicle as Toyota Camry with chassis number JTDBE32K62010530 and unidentified registration number. The state police spokesman said the abductors took their victim to Otuokpoti sand dump in Ogbia Local Government Area, set the car ablaze and took Mrs. Binabo on a speedboat to an unknown destination. The police spokesman said, “At about 11.30hrs, five unknown gunmen, dressed in military camouflage uniforms, went to the premises of Seleyibo Multi-Global Company Limited at Agbura in Yenagoa Local Government Area. They called the director of the company, one Madam Martha Nestor Binabor, 48 years, outside the company’s gate for a talk. “Consequently, they forced her into an ash-coloured Toyota Camry car, Reg No. unknown, Chasis No. JTDBE32K620105302, and drove to Otuokpoti Sand Dump in Ogbia LGA. “They set the Toyota Camry car ablaze, took the victim into a waiting speedboat and sped off to an unknown destination. “The Marine Police, JTF, Anti-kidnapping unit have been alerted. A massive manhunt has been launched to rescue the victim and arrest the abductors. Investigation is ongoing.” http://www.punchng.com/city-news-feature/gunmen-abduct-wife-of-bayelsa-ex-acting-gov/ |
