PoliticsRe: Seun Kuti Goes Hard On Oby Ezekwesili Over Al Jazeera Interview by EdCure: 8:48pm On May 02, 2015
MizMyColi:
A person who isn't enmeshed in politics does not see the need to become an apologist.
Either by association or commission, she is a politician.
While it is a rather derogatory term, I think Oby does more of politicking.

I can understand her reason for distancing herself from the word.

Despite my interest in politics, I wouldn't want to be referred to as a politician.
But then, it is what it is.
Not trying to sound chauvinistic, but few women would want to be identified as politicians owing to the negative perception of the subject matter, and the African perspective on gender role of women in the society.

There's nothing wrong with being called a politician, if, as in her case, you are one.

MizMyColi:
It is hard to be neck deep in politics and not be compromised.
Ironically, she did deny ever being a politician.

Not defending mama BBOG...but she may be right in her assertions about OBJ.
All beliefs are formed by words, and can be changed by words as well. She just wasn't understood.

Now this is presidential. Not one clueless drunk who sits in Aso Rock and lie about speaking with the Moroccan king.

Baba thank you for teaching GEJ the meaning of high level consultation and diplomatic protocol.

hairyanus:
Obama will never come to Nigeria. He hated Nigeria for passing the anti gay law and turning to Russia and China for arms acquisition to fight insurgency.
That was also the beginning of crisis for GEJ and the west.
All these TANkids with their silly generalization and invalid conclusions.

Was the arms sales not denied Nigeria by the USA before GEJ decided to procure arms from the East (China & Russia)? How can you the describe it as the begining?
Moreover, gej govt was globally condemned for it's corrupt practices and gross incompetence. Hence, no serious-minded global leader was eager to identify with the clueless and inept one.

Take your anti-gay law tales and shove it down your HairyAnus!

PoliticsRe: Igbo Wars Against The British by EdCure: 11:45pm On May 01, 2015
ezeagu:
You mean the cassava sticks that held up your countries military for three years with no country fighting its battles?
Let's not go there.
Boko haram, the "rag-tag" terrorists, have been holding up GEJ govt for four years now. Why? Because they were initially handled with "kid's gloves" (using Jona's words), same way Gowon and other well-meaning Nigerians and members of the international community tried to be reasonable with Ojuiku.
Remember, the biafra issue was tagged a police action by the Gowon govt. They couldn't have survived a full scale onslaught for up to a week.

Even the biafra army that made much incursions into other territories was led by men from other ethnic groups, especially the ibibios/efic and Victor Banjo, a Yoruba. Ojuiku led no expedition. We all know how he fled to Abidjan.

And what's with this addiction to cassava sticks?
PoliticsRe: JTF Donates Borehole to Jonathan's Mother's Community by EdCure: 11:12pm On May 01, 2015
Jonathan couldn't provide water for his mother after serving as deputy governor, governor, vice-president, and president. Yet some people expected him to impact the lives of the unknown common masses in any positive way? What a waste!

Uselessness begins at home!

And learn to punctuate properly to make your prose less boring.
PoliticsRe: Tributes To The 129 ''spartan-like'' Soldiers by EdCure: 8:55pm On May 01, 2015
scofieldsimba:
The yorubas on this thread should hide their face in shame. The war was between biafran and the international communities and not just Nigeria. The biafran soldiers fought with bravery and courage against a well fortified army yet they held the war for three years. They had just dane guns and clubs against apc tanks, fighter jets and fn rifles and so on. My friend, the biafran soldiers are the real uncelebrated spartans añd the real heroes of the war.
#saynotowar#
grin grin Una no go use laff kill person with dis 3years and lack of weapons boasting.
How many years boko haram don dey fight Naija now?
Abi una expect your enemie to supply you with weapons?
Wetin una do with the weapons and assistance from France, USA agents and other countries Wey support Biafra?

You guys should challenge the author of your copy-&-paste posts to come up with new lies and excuses because those lines have become very senseless, childish, redundant and stale.

PoliticsRe: Remove Me And Watch The Party Go Up In Flames..adamu Muazu by EdCure: 8:17pm On May 01, 2015
He was also accused of placing premium importance on women matters above party issues, with his office being literally turned into a melting pot for women of different backgrounds who swarm around him for different motives.
PDP leaders have one thing in common. Excess love for women.

Like GEJ, like Muazu, like FFK.
They ran after brreasts, pusssies and fat asses. The result is seen in their failure and the death of the evil party. grin
PoliticsRe: Remove Me And Watch The Party Go Up In Flames..adamu Muazu by EdCure:
Mr Muazu, your PDP had already gone in flames since April 1st. The ash will be fully swept with tthe APC broom of change by May 29.

The truth cannot be over emphasized.
The whole write-up lacks objectivity. It reeks of bias, anger and vituperations from an incurably wounded apologist of a bad loser.
Thus, it's one boring prose of hogwash to the descerning mind.

EUROBOMBER:
Quit deceiving yourself, the war was won by Great Britain and the Soviet Union.
Your types are the reasons why it will be difficult to have an insult-free debate on NL. Ojukwu must have lied to you about how he saw British, Soviet etc troops on ground and how he ordered Phillip Effiong to surrender the rag-tag Biafridiot soldiers to another British soldeir...a non-Nigerian.

I least expected anything other than such stale cliches from an ibo.
PoliticsRe: How My Troops Stopped Biafran Soldiers At Ore —col. Iluyomade (rtd) by EdCure: 11:15am On Apr 30, 2015
After reading this story, i've found out that the Northerners are the real cowards and greedy people. The war was fought and won by the Yorubas, but the Northerners hijacked everything and neglected the true heros.

How come we never heard of those names or see them excelling in the country which they fought so gallantly to defend? This is what every Southerner/Yoruba should be worried about, but it's a shame nobody is talking about this.
