The new elected lawmakers aren't active as their tenure starts counting after the do elections! The new lawmakers can't stop banks from giving loans to the governor! Impeachment proceedings can be done but in the context of what is happening, obaseki can reverse his impeachment in court pending after the elections, he can still run for governor until the court address the impeachment clause, This lawmakers tenure starts immediately after the edo elections, so they don't really have to take big decisions!

If you are in Edo State, you will know that this group (OSM) is the most vibrant, most vocal and most visible campaign group for Obaseki/Shaibu.

It is Obaseki's lack of wisdom that made him to be listening to wrong advise which caused his troubles with APC and Oshiomole. He believes in bullying people to do his will. He doesn't care about the average party man in the street who canvas for the votes.

Obaseki has no natural supporters. They all came for the money. And a typical PDP leader does not practice sharing money that he has received. Not even to stress himself for campaign. Chop, clean mouth and run!
