Oshiomhole reinstates Ihonvbere as SSG

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has reinstated Professor Julius Ihonvbere as the Secretary to the State Government.

‎Ihonvbere had resigned his appointment on December 9, a day after losing the All Progressives Congress ticket for Edo North senatorial district.

But Oshiomhole in a statement on Tuesday explained that his reinstatement followed the review and resolution of the issues surrounding the resignation of the SSG two weeks ago.

He also stated that the professor’s reinstatement was with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, the governor has accepted the resignation of the State Commissioner for Youths, Sports and Social Mobilisation, Mr. Chris Okaeben, in line with the electoral and constitutional requirements which mandates political appointees to resign 45 days before an election.

Okaeben is the APC flag bearer for Oredo West constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly election scheduled to hold in February, 2015.

Oshiomhole commended Okaeben, who had earlier appreciated the state government for his contributions to the Edo project, and wished him well in the election.

Industrial revolution does not mean full industrialisation. It is merely the use of machine to replace human effort (labour) in the production process and in the work place. Just like the use of computers in banks and cranes in cunstructing buildings, machines for making clothes and shoes, etc.

Has Jonathan ever answered the question of the money laundering allegation against his wife? Has he acknowledged the role he played in the malabu scandal? Did he tell us the name of those involved in the gun business when pressed? Has he explained the $20 billion scandal?
