tit:You PDPidiots keep blabbing about "dispute with facts" as if you will recognise what is factual when one stares you at your Eczema infested face. |
Billygee2u:Jonathan is is leaving in 2015. He will still lose even if you vote 1000times for him because God does not support clueless and corrupt rascals. That's why he everything is failing in GEJ's administration recently. |
bitterpenis:Seriously! By the grace if God, we shall kick him out next year. |
Pavarottii:Good question. |
Mogidi:This lie of yours got me real laughing ![]() |
Seun, obinoscopy, ngwakwe; who hurriedly moved this thread here, and what is the rationale for such action? Are you afraid that the content of this news will indict GEJ as a clueless coward? I want this thread restored to the politics section where it rightly belongs. I'm not soliciting for frontpage even though that's where it is most suited for. NB: This is a Yahoo/BBC breaking news which will be seen all over the world, including by Nigerians whether your hide it at this moment from the visitors to your site or not. Goodluck to you! |
mrvitalis:The story up there about the activities of ISIS and how they overrun cities and military installations is very similar with what is going on in Nigeria. But Jonathan and his defence military, NSA and other relevant agencies are doing nothing. Not a single top officer or politician is prosecuted. Instead you have junior soldiers who put their lives on the line being court-martialed. |
Iraq PM sacks 36 army officers in anti-corruption drive Baghdad (AFP) - Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Wednesday sacked 36 army officers in an anti-corruption drive at a time when the military is locked in conflict with Islamic State group jihadists. His office said that Abadi, who also serves as armed forces commander in chief, and has already sacked a number of senior army officers, dismissed 26 military commanders and sent 10 into retirement. It did not specify if the officers were in combat units or held administrative posts. Abadi also named 18 commanders of new defence ministry posts, his office said, as part of efforts to "reinforce the military along professional lines and fight all forms of corruption". Defence Minister Khaled al-Obaidi vowed last month to investigate military failings that allowed the Islamic State group to overrun large areas of Iraq and to hold those responsible to account. IS-led militants launched a major offensive in June, overrunning Iraq's second city Mosul as security forces collapsed en masse, in some cases even abandoning their uniforms and weapons in their haste to flee. The militants then swept through much of the country's Sunni Arab heartland, where many residents were deeply mistrustful of Iraq's Shiite-led government. http://news.yahoo.com/iraq-pm-sacks-36-army-officers-anti-corruption-185926979.html

Words fail me! |
shizzleStar:The spread of you brainless Biafridiots has gotten to high numbers. Actions should be made to donate brains made in a laboratory for you. I'll donate when it starts. Go on, eastern zombie!... You've entertained me enough with your trademark idiocy. |
shizzleStar:Only a knee jerk reactionary will write what you just posted. You're too drunk off your TAN stipends to note you're spewing thrash. Need I remind you that your lack of brain cells is pathetic? Get the help you so desperately need! |
shizzleStar:It does amuse me how the insults and name calling comes up after you realise that you have no arguements because you lack brain cells. Get the help you need! Your lack of brain cells is pathetic. I have given up on educating low-life turds and intellectual midgets of which category you belong. |
We all see Nigeria as our own. Does a man issue threat to leave HIS OWN house? The (empty and poorly planned) threats of secession is most common among the population that regard itself as tenants, immigrants and the subjugated. No region in Nigeria is as diverse with settler communities as the SW and Edo. When the time comes, we shall surround and dump you all at what remains of the Onitsha Head Bridge. |
nationwide1:Jonathan has failed woefully. What can he do differently from what we've seen him do since 2010? |
Ngwakwe:First time I'm seeing a post of yours bearing a lick of rationality and coherence. |
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan: Nigeria's insensitive president. |
Good move! This is what good leadership entails- bold practical steps. No hand of friendship should be extended to any blood sucking islamist group. These barbarians will lose the morale to cause trouble or kill innocent and peace loving people if they get isolated by those whom they believe to be their strongest. And influential allies. |
Egypt revokes citizenships of Hamas leaders granted by Morsi Special to WorldTribune.com CAIRO — Egypt has revoked the citizenship of nearly 1,000 people granted by its first Islamist president. Egyptian sources said President Abdul Fatah Al Sisi ordered the cancellation of thousands granted citizenship by his ousted predecessor, Mohammed Morsi. The sources said a Cabinet panel led by the Interior Ministry was reviewing Islamic operatives from around the Middle East allowed permanent residency and full nationality in Egypt. “Most of those given citizenship under Morsi were Palestinians, including most of the Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip,” a source said. So far, the Cabinet panel has decided to revoke the citizenship of 800 people. The sources said many of them came from the neighboring Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip and sought to expand links with insurgency movements. Khaled Meshaal, leader of Hamas with Mohamed Morsi. The Egyptian daily Al Masri Al Yom said one of the Gazans whose citizenship was revoked was Mahmoud Zahar. Zahar, a former foreign minister, has been identified as Hamas’ de facto political leader in the Gaza Strip. “Other persons subjected to the measure are being vetted by security to determine links to terrorist groups that had attacked Egypt,” a source told Al Masri Al Yom on Oct. 26. The government has determined that Morsi granted citizenship to 13,000 Palestinians during his year-long tenure. The sources said many of them were Hamas operatives who had infiltrated Egypt from the Gaza Strip since the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Egypt has blamed Hamas for the attack on an army position in the Sinai Peninsula in which 33 soldiers were killed on Oct. 24. The sources said Cairo has blocked the entry of Hamas leaders as well as suspended reconciliation efforts. Hamas deputy chief Mussa Abu Marzouk, based in Cairo, said his movement restored security coordination with Egypt over the last two months. Abu Marzouk said Hamas severed relations with the ousted Muslim Brotherhood and extradited weapons smugglers to Egypt. “Every time a disaster strikes Egypt in the era of the coup instigators, they point their fingers at Gaza,” Abu Marzouk said. http://www.worldtribune.com/2014/11/06/egypt-revokes-citizenships-hamas-leaders-granted-morsi/

bloodykiller:I have warned you to stop taking overdose of those drugs. They're too expensive to be wasted. And the side effects (which you're currently manifesting) are very dangerous and sometimes unmanageable. All will be well if you adhere strictly to prescription, please. |
bloodykiller:How are you? |
frankyychiji:Stop spamming my mentions with such banalities, please! |
NgeneUkwenu:Seriously! He couldn't even read a line. Very worrisome! |
Mogidi:If Buhari thinks the Abachas stole nothing, why did he deny Mohammed the Kano CPC ticket for same reason? Don't you think Buhari is misunderstood most of the time? Not neglecting the fact that the retired General is not a good communicator. Or are you suggesting that GEJ withdrew the charges without proper investigation and prosecution (as he's wont to do though) because he thought he heard Buhari say something? That would be the height of cluelessness, you know. |
Mogidi:I thought Jonathan withdrew all charges against the Abacha family for political expediency. Tell me I'm wrong. |
Mogidi:Buhari is staging an anti-corruption campaign. How does that amount to evil plan? Not minding the fact that he will stop your benefactors and clueless patrons from looting the nation's treasury. |
HugeCock:In his real clueless sense. |
Nigerian Military Confirm Helicopter Crash In Yola. by SaharaReporters, New York Nov 10, 2014 A Nigerian Air Forces helicopter crash-landed at the Yola International Airport this morning at about 9am. There were no casualties. A statement signed by Major General Chris Olukolade, the Chief of Defence Information of Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters, said that “Shark 23,” which had been on a training mission, “executed a controlled forced landing 4 minutes after take-off.” He said all the crew members were recovered, but he gave no indication as to their condition, or how many people had been on board. “The Nigerian Air Force Headquarters has already set up an investigation panel to unravel the circumstances that led to the incident,” the statement said. smallJagaban:Pls don't bring bigotry into this. This is the time for southern elders and citizens to strategise and defend their homeland and existence. It is very obvious that the Nigerian project has failed with the Jonathan clueless administration which is only interested in political patronage, power and loyalty. Boko Haram is taking over towns and villages with ease and they will never stop until they meet a much bigger and motivated opponent who is ready to fight not just for salary, allowances and ranks, but for survival and posterity. The SW and Edo leaders need to replicate this step. |
